Problem is fat arabs controlling the market, amazing the US was allowed to get away with breaching International law on Iraq, still one could say it cost the country trillions and thousands of lives, not only US servicemen but tens of thousands of lives of Iraqis, and the fine mess mid-east going through now, what's even more surprising is those countries that are in strife and getting oil to the market!

Just added a few, no idea where the low is, working on the basis of a 20%
cut in the dividend and the yield still looks reasonable.

Forget the RDSB rumours, as I mentioned at the time lie down in a darkened room
if you are buying on that basis, most likely a large line of stock that
needed to be offloaded - and no doubt some PI's were completely mugged buying
the speculation spike.

XOM would make more sense, eventually.

what I cant workout or correlate is BP share price to oil price if Oil drops to $40 then what will be the SP?
I think this will be the 'steal' of the year as when this turns then it will fly....
Wonder how those Shell rumours stack up now......good excuse for Shell/BP to get together...

Yeah that oil map completely inaccurate, even Saudi cannot balance its budget on current price, but then they $550bln. in reserves, the only countries currently able produce and balance budgets are Qatar and Kuwait, should have let Saddam keep Kuwait, overweight bunch of slobs in that country, serve no purpose on the planet except have too much oil, Saudis on a road to nowhere with their attitude, admittedly consumers like the discount, but what is a few quid a week, can see even the UK suffering from low price in terms of tax revenue!

85253 : Inaccurate just need to look at the BBC oil news article to read up on breakeven figures. Only two Arabic countries can keep their heads above water todate with the reserves they hold. The rest are having to raise taxes as we speak.
