Here’s hoping you don’t implode like we did when we were running away with it at Xmas. I’m from Mid Northumberland so most of the country are Southerners to me. Love North Yorkshire though, it has the lot.

Warbaby, you have been in this a while. What is your view? Are you holding or you think this is a gone cause?

This gets worse and worse! The naysayers might be right and this goes down to cash, I.e. 2-3p. Should have stayed out post divi. Never learn with AIM stocks and this will be the last. I was hoping it wouldn't end up like the others but currently it is looking like a lost cause. Really seemed more positive but I am clearly missing something. The market is telling you that this is not going to reach FID, which goes against all the indications we are getting from the JV partners. Peculiar.

I have had the same sinking feeling as you kbrook but a couple of things don’t quite fit. 1. There are other major shareholders whom you would suspect would need to be in on the plan. 2. Eli has actually rang me and talked to me regarding my e mail requests for more news (around July this year). I didn’t ask him to, he just did. I suspect he has also chatted to other shareholders. Although I got very little real info from the chat it was reassuring which is a strange thing to do if you want the share price lower and the eventual plan is to shaft us. Is anyone going to the AGM? I’m sure we’d all appreciate some feedback on the event. I certainly can’t imagine Eli holding another telephone Q and A session

"they seem to be guiding the valuation lower that is significantly bringing the share price lower ...............In terms of motives I have no idea if there are any but there is definitely a difference in stance and guidance between BLVN and others I think." In terms of motives gark, the one I posted a couple of weeks ago at 18638 might be the one to give real concern to PIs - to see the price down at or below these levels to be able to then take the company private at a knockdown price - eg Fortune Oil a few years back. However, Chahin does have form for issuing seemingly depressive RNSs - eg the IE-4 Result in October 2018 which provoked considerable alarm and indignation at its tone. In that case when they were bombarded with e mails like the one I sent, they responded by ameliorating and calming the situation with a Conference Call. This time while there might not be a Conference Call, the effort and attention given to the AGM and accompanying Presentation might provide some indications as to whether they're up to no good. Btw, I sure hope you Southerners and London lot will be going to the AGM next Wednesday and reporting back for the benefit of us northern provincials. It would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea but they seem to be guiding the valuation lower that is significantly bringing the share price lower. Clearly still massive risks here but they have made significant progress towards de risking and taking it forward. The language they are using seems to be less positive than the JV partners. In terms of motives I have no idea if there are any but there is definitely a difference in stance and guidance between BLVN and others I think.

Gark...so is my possible theory bonkers? There is no way COC are coming out of this without a profit and a big one.

The annual report is a good read and provides a lot more detail. They are quite far ahead on the path to FID and New Age still believes that they will get there in Q1 while Bowleven are being more conservative. The oil in some areas is of a higher quality and the valuation methodology is extremely conservative in terms of risk weighting, resource and valuation at USD 2/3 per boe. They are being ultra conservative so if this does get to FID, the valuation will change dramatically. Trying to fathom why they are taking this approach, this is risky in terms of whether it goes ahead but JV partners are serious about taking it forward and they also mention that the loss of license is a low risk in the annual report.

cyan, the answer of your concern is here: Going concern After making enquiries, the Directors are satisfied that the Group has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis as the Directors are of the opinion that the Group has sufficient funds to meet ongoing working capital and committed capital expenditure requirements. The Directors have considered the likelihood of reaching FID in 2020 and the consequent need to raise additional financing. In this scenario, the Group is due to receive a $25m cash payment from its JV partners at FID. The Directors are satisfied that the Group would be able to secure additional debt and equity funding in order to finance its share of the Etinde development. The Directors have also considered the possibility of FID not occurring prior to the licence expiry in January 2021. In this scenario, the Directors are satisfied that the Group has sufficient existing financial resources in place to meet its operating costs for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these accounts.

Gark they go hand in hand, yes the condensate is valuable but your not going to produce it without an lng solution, camgov still the fly in the ointment too. Good luck,

Liquids are the valuable resource here so let's not get too hung up on the LNG. Cost of this project is going to be not too expensive given what New Age are costing. Also you have two other owners with decent access to debt financing and reserves based lending is an option. Derisked NAV is £1 so if they take it through to production might even see higher than 30p. Clearly this is risky but partners NA and Lukoil seem to be serious about developing the field and alternative is to sell at a big loss now. HSBC, COC and other large holders remaining so I will try to turn the screen off and hope for the best next year. Good luck to all who remain and hopefully this dog will come good!
