Thanks for posting Gark, can't read it unfortunately and I'm not going to pay to subscribe! Hopefully we've seen the bottom and are on the way back, a snippet of good news is what we need to get it moving the right direction

Article in Africa Intelligence staying that New Age will sell all its African assets apart from Marine III and Etinde. For the latter they are focused on domestic gas. This should be positive for FID and suggests Chinese investment in local power generation. If FID looks more likely this is far too cheap.

and: all ii's seem also convinced that we will get that fid done as there is no change in holdings since a long time. stay strong! coc knew all that before they invested, they didn't invest just for fun. nothing changed really, it's just a matter of when we will reach fid imo.

it's very simple really: if you believe bowleven with its jv partners will reach fid then stay in and buy more over the next few weeks/months. if you do not believe fid will be realized then you should have sold a very long time ago. i'm convinced we will reach fid next year hence i'm still in and i'm also still buying. after fid we will either be sold or we will go into production. it is new ages largest asset now

Lukoil and New Age invested a lot here and given value you have to think this gets to FID. Binary now but am holding. Look at VOG, Tullow etc and all a bit of a mare at the moment.

Yes but FID is the decision, so that could be a yes or no. In the event of no we have still reached FID, does that make sense?

It makes sense but it isn't in alignment with their contractual terms - per the call.

It's not a question of allowing it to fail. Clearly they will do their utmost to ensure FID is progressed. That's not the issue.

For me it's a total gamble now which is a real shame but the only thing stopping me selling is the point you make that the likes of HSBC and COC have a lot more to lose than I do.

RE FID payment - No, that was clear on the call, no FID no payment and wind up time. SH's may be 1 or 2p at most at that stage at a guess.

You've got to think about how much COC have at stake here,I simply can't believe they will allow it to fail. Also I can't believe HSBC don't know more than us and they haven't sold a single share to my knowledge. But as you say it's FID or nothing. On the subject of FID do we get 25m on reaching FID regardless of the decision, that's something I didn't understand from the phone in when the question was asked?

It's simply fid or bust now. Doubt much will be left if fid doesn't happen and business is wound up.

Sorry to hear that and I am in a similar position. I am now wondering whether I salvage whatever is left or ignore and see if it comes good next year (potentially even double down). I am just not sure that FID will ever happen.
