04/12/2016 19:10 | I emailed Bowleven about Exmar FLNG appears on the presentation slide, here was the answer to my email. IRqueries 2 Jun to me Good morning Thank you for your email. The slide you reference includes an operator prepared schematic showing an early stage LNG development scheme being explored by NewAge (the operator). As outlined in the Interims release that accompanied these presentation slides, the joint venture is looking at the possibility of advancing the Etinde development through an offshore processing facility along with the drilling of the planned appraisal wells. 03/12/2016 21:12 | Timing suggests that this is for Etinde and we have agreement to push ahead. Last week's activity in terms of volume suggests that we may get an announcement in the next fortnight. | gark
03/12/2016 18:40 | From the report, it seems NewAge is looking for a ready made vessel. "The operator has proposed an FLNG solution and has been evaluating opportunities to utilise existing available vessels. This potential route has been highlighted to the Cameroon authorities, whose preference to utilise Etinde gas for fertiliser and gas-to-power projects, when ready, could also be supported under such a development scheme." The name Exmar FLNG appears in the presentation. slide 7. | tli8jaguar
03/12/2016 16:51 | "the contract includes the option to build a second FLNG ship" - for Cameroon if ever New Age manage to reach an accommodation with the government for the development of Etinde? Even if that were the case, though, the prioritisation of the Congo asset doesn't instil too much confidence in any expectation of a move towards a drill any time soon. Meanwhile, back to post 12873 and Tunggie's itemisation of the cash burn and what I find nearly as alarming as the total of $96.9m between March 2015 and 31 October 2016 is that in just this past year 31 Oct 2015 to 31 Oct 2016 expenditure was a gobsmacking $36m ($120m down to $99m with $15m being received at end Sept) There was some Bomono testing in that period and, no doubt, some fees connected to the swiftly aborted Aminex farmout, but even with their own self indulgence thrown in, I struggle to even begin to imagine how that $36m can be arrived at. 02/12/2016 19:07 | Gark, the bids for the FLNG is not for us:- Up to four consortiums will compete for a landmark contract to supply London-based company NewAge with a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel for operations in the Congo (Brazzaville). Industry sources said the commercial tender will be submitted early next month, private NewAge intends to contract the first quarter of next year awarded to its first consortium. It is understood that the successful bidder will be the first of the proposed F. The LNG ship for further facilities work and submit a final offer for the design, procurement, construction and installation contract, probably in the second half of next year. Natural gas will be sold to Asia, the source mentioned that China is a target market, Europe is a spare sales. The project observer said that as many as four consortia are competing for the work, the contract includes the option to build a second FLNG ship. | tli8jaguar
