Looks like CO have purchased the shares through the indirect holding they had so they now own 13.09% directly as this amount matches with their earlier RNS. Interesting times.

there were massive additional costs as a result of the rig operator being fired. Read the RNSs. Basically, it sounds like a lot, but we got to retain our equity stake in the bomono permit which was promised to them... Alls well that ends well - with a EA/GSA soon hopefully.

I find it very hard to get past this from the Results

"Capital expenditure cash flows during the period were $48.2 million (2015: $35.1 million) and relate primarily to drilling and testing activities on two exploration wells on the Bomono Permit."

$48.2m for two onshore wells!!!!! Even the rightly much maligned Aminex and Solo which are imminently to spud their Ntorya-2 well to be immediately followed up by N-3 are budgeting a total of only $22.15m for the two wells with both going down to c2,500m.

It is to be hoped that it is not just a bunch of groupies at the AGM but holders who are going to provide some really forensic questioning.

This is what Malcy's thought, "Bowleven announced yesterday that Crown Ocean Capital or ‘COC’ had attempted to put a resolution to the upcoming AGM to remove three non-exec directors and replace them with their own, COC owns around 7.8% of BLVN stock. The paperwork was apparently invalid but could be resubmitted. Today the company has announced that the deadline has passed and no new such resolutions have been received, how strange…."

We had the Dragon offer followed by the going concern debacle,the Bonomo drill farce and the Aminex issue.We still don't know how good Bonomo is and you wonder what the execs do all day. The non execs are well qualified but do they actively supervise our progress. I don't want us now rushing into a panic buy to keep Crown at bay.Time for change.

That would be nice if it was but more likely they were happy to let Ocean buy during the closed period, that way it gives them a better chance of getting more shares off the market

If what he buys is 'similar to the buyback' it should just about cover a B&Q shed.Also why would he be panicking? He awarded himself loads of share the cover any potential loss in the future of being unable to live off BLVN shareholders as he has done over the last several years.All IMHORegards IHNC
