The market and shareholders want the SI issue completed, otherwise there will be a black hole and more funds needed.
MR has done a brilliant job up until now in progressing Oram Cross without diluting shareholders so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's this doubt that is harming the share price today due to the lack of an update.

Apf, you sure you've got that right? The DFC will only contribute another $2mn, and the DFS will cost, what, $7mn and up? That SI would have perfectly filled the funding gap.

The sells now are just manipulation of a thin orderbook.Seems pointless as Blencowe are sufficiently funded due to the dfc grant.

Has anyone asked MR recently why the prospectus hasn't been finalised?

Incredible reaction. First major offtake signed, for what could be 25-30 million per annum, with the parent company of the Chinese lab doing the sample testwork....and BRES rises just 2.7% for the day.So who is contimuing to play games here?

Slow moving creep in the right direction and on course what more could you want.
The impatience of greed is always a curse.

Yes great news, although again you wouldn't think it with the share price reaction.

First off take with Jilin. Hugely positive as this is a substantial amount of the total income that OC will generate during to being large flake (higher price, typically up to $2k per tonne). Substantially de risks the project. Very happy with this development, great work by all, well done.

Yes, but the excuse about the lateness of the new prospectus being down to the usual bureaucratic delays, is wearing thin by now. Come on, MR, update the market on the status of this investor and the prospectus.

Agree and completely take the point around deadlines being an issue with BRES but so far this has only been to do with funding and not other things. Also the previous issue with missing the deadline was around the "strategic investor" back in December 2022 which never materialised. That wasn't raised as a point until I emailed BRES asking for clarification. That said, shortly afterwards they announced the DFC were getting involved so that turned out very well. Who knows, maybe we have another one of MRs top trumps in the background. Maybe more commitment from the DFC

I think MR is doing a great job generally and one of the more trustworthy CEO's around. At present BRES is one of my largest holdings.

Good Point, I think MR is generally doing a great job and BRES seems a great investment but I agree sometimes the PR is a bit frustrating and the Prospectus is an good example of this. These delays and radio silence are frustrating. However slippage in timelines regarding the DFS etc is just part of investing in a mining company and par for the course despite being annoying. If the DFS is slightly delayed due to the consideration of looking at in-country processing, that's fine by me.

Today's announcement: “We ANTICIPATE further updating the market on the progress of our test work and the interest from potential offtakers in the coming weeks."

Well, management might want to prioritize the long-overdue Prospectus and then actually reveal the identity of the new Strategic Investor which, as a shareholder, I ANTICIPATED back in FEBRUARY! I assume it's still expected or have I missed something? What gives? GLA. RB.

Paulie,
Thanks re: latest video,
MR certainly looks like he's excited about the potential of downstream in-country processing. This would be a huge game changer for BRES, not just in profits hitting the bottom line but being able to process the graphite outside of China MR states is not just attractive to the US but also Chinese companies who don't want to be restricted to selling the processed Graphite within China. I'm mighty encourage by the video. It looks like a bit of a delay for the DFS until H1 2025 as MR states BRES are a little behind but it's important BRES gets this right and there's always the carrot of MOU's with off-takers within the next 3 months or so. Great stuff for the patient investor.
