We are the very early users it’s our job to flag these potential sign up issues

That seems a very easy website fix to put a link in.

For all we know next week will have an updated web landing page

Yes, but user experience is very important at this stage, even if free ...it is akin to customer service IMO

Yes, although they said they would welcome feedback from users, they have not, to my knowledge, given an address to send any.

I'm happy to give feedback, but, to whom?

There’s not a link on the main website as this isn’t in general release yet. Once they’re ready for people to be rocking up to the main website and logging in, they’ll put it there I’m sure.

If you have a video clip on track 2 over a video on track 1 you will be able to dissolve from the clip on track 1 to the clip on track 2.

I think his main focus is on the product

And don’t forget we are early access so I suspect they will have more updates to the website

Hornblower should email them with the suggestion as it did affect his initial experience

I'm loving the fade in/fade out system, which works on both vid and aud.

I expect this is all standard stuff...but new to me :)

These are kind of comments I find surprising,at this stage ..especially when Sumit gave me the clear impression he was a man of detail and wanting everything, right

The beauty of this is that you can log in one day and new features will be available to you no software updates!

Chief Product Officer Sumit Rai says:

"Early access feedback has been fantastic, and we are excited to be opening up to a wider audience in the coming weeks.

We have a paradigm shifting vision for elevate.io and it will continue to evolve after launch with regular updates and improvements."

NickB, Agreed.

The login problem was my fault, as I had not clocked that the web address was not elevate.io but editor.elevate.io.

Nowhere on Blackbird or elevate websites does it tell you this.

I only discovered it by going back through my Chrome history.

Anyway, all good now.

Crack on.

" But yes video editing is powerful story telling!"

True..and it has become a powerful part of maintaining the attention of the viewer, in terms of the creativity that is used along with the video itself

The screenshots of the product at the 2023 Investor Meet for the finals, the ones with the hot air balloons on the editor, are the same as the current product.

So, given the work Morgan Henry has put in, it would be amazing if there is not already a premium product there.

Someone mentioned a help bot - I believe the answer previously given was that there would be some sort of help bot for the product. A bit like that paperclip you used to get on Office.

Do you think we will see this develop in front of our eyes ( with improvements based on feedback) or more of a take it away and return with updated release product?

Horne and NickB, why don’t you try collaborating on the video to see how it all hangs together, and at the same time Horne will learn a bit more about editing and NickB about collaboration

So what was the login problem?
Did you solve it or was it support?

One test yesterday
I was blown away just clicking on a link to someone else’s project and it instantly opening with all the editing timeline and all the clips ready to go instantly.

That simple demo will even blow a lot of ‘jaded’ pro editors minds and get them very curious.

And the fact they could be on the other side of the world is powerful

And no software or set up required just 1 click
