If this is to truly succeed it needs to be both cloud and browser agnostic.

Forcing a user down a restricted or even worse exclusive path for browser choice is a recipe for disaster as many SaaS providers have found to their cost.

The QA teams and Alpha & Beta program managers should be all over this. Also an easy feedback process is key in these early days.

Oh I see.

I have Firefox on my Mac I will try that test later but they do recommend Chrome which they have always done for the enterprise version.

nick what i meant was that lots of browsers such as Edge, Vivaldi, Firefox are based on chromium, not just chrome itself.

hopefully it works with them ... lots of people don't like to use chrome itself as it spys on you!!

Working fine on Chrome for Mac.

On Safari I couldn't even type my name in on the log in page wrong characters being entered. Pretty basic I would have thought, however that does force you to use Chrome so not a deal breaker.

i really hope that it will work on all chromium based browsers (which is most of them now except safari)

as a lot of people don't like using chrome itself for obvious reasons. although they may have done a sponsored deal with google of course.

Throw as many questions/queries at them as you can ...get them to listen to you !!

If you dont then at some point someone else will ..best an issue is caught as soon as possible !

Love the feature where you drag back from the end of the clip, which allows you to decide where you want it to start fading out from. Enjoying the simplicity and speed of the interface. Early days.

Since I’m not on their tester list it’s not my job to email them.
They have 60? Odd testers so it would be worrying if none of them have spotted the missing Title tool!

Onlinevideo editor did have pretty good titles

They can do it but like you big surprise it’s not present unless it’s in the hidden panel of tools!

Title missing is a big surprise. Suggest you email your observations to Bird and hopefully they'll roll out more features.

Couple of very quick observations

1. Could not sign up using Safari web browser
2. Used Google Chrome (which they recommend)
3. Sign up easy
4 create project easy but I question the position of the button which is away from the project panel. (No big deal).

5 Upload footage very fast (but I am on fibre)
10 minutes clip took only 13 seconds
Process time only 1’18 seconds so that’s good.
You can continue to work while uploading new footage.

It’s the free version so I have to get my head around that limit!

Editing observations
Very smooth and fluid backwards and forwards and absolutely frame accurate.

Interface is clean
Timeline is nice but it needs to be adjustable
Absolutely needs a focus zoom to help manipulate the clips I’m surprised this is missing.
Also missing is a title tool I think you need that on the free version.

Still testing will update, so far so good
