But more usually, it means Mechanical and Electrical engineering sector. | horneblower
07/3/2024 19:16:41 | Probably just confirming my ignorance here but M&E = Music & Effects in video creator parlance? | hairflick
07/3/2024 19:15:58 | The seller was Marlbourgh capital, Hargreaves and Shroders, Miton did also wiggle some.
We also had 2.5m dump from a PI account.
No advice.

07/3/2024 18:12:58 | Another example of how tough it is in M&E
‘ITV boss refuses to rule out job cuts after slump in advertising Broadcaster to cut costs faster as it suffers 15pc fall in TV ad revenue’ | nickb
07/3/2024 18:05:50 | Lots of shares moving around over the last few weeks or so.
Also 17 million shares bought in a placing that wasn’t really needed.
Makes me wonder 🫢 if more is going on

07/3/2024 17:58:55 | SM
Schroders have 12,429,402 left.
However that was last updated on 24th January, so no idea if any change since then. | cabi1
07/3/2024 17:52:34 | SM, the 750k was a late reported Buy from 15:46.
That’s what took the 6 offer out. | cabi1
07/3/2024 17:51:15 | Cabi any idea what Schroders still has in Bird. Just curious in case they are getting their whole holding out | spoonmuff
07/3/2024 17:49:46 | I wonder if that 750k was what was preventing the price going up. Now that’s out the way hopefully with more days like today/yesterday it should leg up. | spoonmuff
07/3/2024 17:41:43 | Meanwhile a nice 750k trade has been printed. | shortsqueezer
07/3/2024 17:40:41 | Ah thanks. I'm not completely mad then. Must have missed the correction. That gives me even more confidence. Cheers | shortsqueezer
07/3/2024 17:16:40 | Yes someone did post it, but they were wrong, it was Schroders.
Miton have increased their holdings to 61,990,295.
Miton did sell a few back in September if I recall, I think that was about 3 million, but it was Schroders selling 5.783 million in January.
Bloomberg updated Miton holdings on the 5th March, which just shows the buying in placing
Probably other changes but Bloomberg have not updated yet. | cabi1
07/3/2024 17:11:19 | Cabi perhaps I'm getting mixed up. Could have sworn there was a post here a while back showing PM had reduced. | shortsqueezer
07/3/2024 17:05:37 | SS.
Who said they shorted it.
Miton haven’t sold any.
Schroders sold 5.783 million. | cabi1
07/3/2024 17:04:12 | That's how I see it too. I am still struggling to understand the relationship between premier miton shorting us down to here yet being allowed to take part in the raise to buy them back. Smoke and mirrors eh ? | shortsqueezer
07/3/2024 16:12:21 | Are we all on the elevator? :) | hyperal
07/3/2024 16:10:14 | After all the massive volume and large trades over past 6 weeks, I wonder if we are seeing a large transfer from and into the hands of an institutional investor. If so we should get an RNS on completion. | hyperal
07/3/2024 15:48:15 | Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaa 6 offer trades out finally. | cabi1
07/3/2024 15:46:49 | What on earth are you implying hornblower? | johnveals
07/3/2024 15:43:26 | True, john. However, it seems odd that while there is clearly a big seller in the market at exactly the same price, the broker could not have managed a simple transaction between parties, with no dilution. I wonder if the fees had something to do with it? | horneblower
