Can’t see that being insider, no extra info given. Just a bit like trading, selling for a higher price then buying back cheaper. Saw Schroeder’s do it twice on a old share I used to follow

Some good posts here All seems a bit jam tomorrow this product It is about being first leader in the sector and all that .Cannot see the revenue model being guaranteed or sustainable on initial thoughts I guess the next 4-6 months will be defining

The are leaders and followers. Best start with the leaders.

This is rubbish. Best start with those starting out whether they be leaders or followers. I doubt creators like Mr Beast care whether they are using avid, Adobe or Bird whereas people starting off don't have much money and could promote the brand and would be likely to promote it

Two excellent posts by Hornblower.

Personally, I think Ian should be replaced by Sumit. It would likely be better for him and family too. It feels like Ian did not understand the tech and was attacked internally for his lack of understanding. He's not engaging, cut throat or charismatic in the role at least to me.

Anyway, not long to go. Anyone logging in tomorrow?

The problem with trying to give the trial group what it asks for is that you pander to a small, nonrepresentative group. You won't get to the mass market that way.

tbf, this worked very well with software I use, OTOY's Octane render

They have a very responsive set of programmers providing regular updates and so a very loyal customer / subscription base

(Not unhelped by Beeple using it to create his blockbuster NFT's)

So, I maybe wouldn't knock this approach..?

If Bird gets bought for $1bn+ I don't suppose we'll care if it was only a "tech purchase" or not :-)

Frame.io revenue was probably 95% Adobe customers and they then gave away the basics to every Adobe subscriber so they won very little business. It was a tech purchase

Yep. To be fair I suppose that did put a floor under it and, as like all placing, was bound to drop to it. Onward

PC.

As in they will see elevate.io is in demand and popular, so more attractive to them to buy us out.

I think Frame.io was only making $15m per annum, and they paid $1.3 billion for them.

NickB Allenby's updated model uses £36 per month for the average user. YouTube reportedly had around 15M Video Creators last year - even 1% of that would produce very significant profits so I think your patience will soon be rewarded either by an exit or a much improved share price
