05/1/2009 16:06 | They have been slow in releasing that infomation....spuded on the 3rd December and we are hearing it on the 5th Jan when the job must be about finished!...must have been worried the share price might rise....Cold flow rates so far would be the stuff of dreams for IVE wells! | granny7
05/1/2009 15:54 | Shame we are suspended, with a lot of these small caps seeing substantial rises over the last two trading days, we may have seen similar. Good RNS considering. | thrgef

05/1/2009 12:28 | Fut, Good to hear that you're getting back on form again. Hopefully we'll have a more active and interesting year, the last 6 months were a waiting game and much longer than I initially intended to be here. Holding for developments will be the way to play this one now. there will not be a high priced take over now as the financing is in place. With the $bn Pacific Rubiales heading operations now and a management with deep pockets in control of Blr/Woburn things could develop nicely. Ivan, Perhaps I was being a bit harsh with badly designed, I really should have said incorrectly completed. It seems that they were completed on the cheap. Its common place to have packers in heavy oil wells as the thick sticky oil will often carry with it any friable reservoir sands. So sanding and waxing of perforations would have been a problem anticipated. That can be forgiven for the Arce Discovery well, the other wells were drilled as appraisal wells and once they encountered the same reservoir as anticipated these wells should have been completed as production wells. It didn't seem to have happened. PEG may be able to recover these wells if the steam in the vicinity or acid wash the wells to help clean them out. We have big guns on the team with plenty of cash now, so it'll be interesting to see what they do with it. I would imagine a new cluster would be the first thing on the agenda with PEG. I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with different Gross and Net pay columns in some of these fields as they will be bringing with them state of the art drilling and wireline logging equiptment. I expect PEG to get the best possible performance from our fields on the Las Quinchas licence. Steel, LOL hopefully not WOE that's for sure, that would be out of the pan and into the fire. Hopefully it'll be WEN or WBE or even WBN or perhaps like similar to Encore with WE. Captain Nelson Forties | captainnelsonforties

04/1/2009 22:29 | You are not being cynical but Blackrock have NO choice in the matter. Its a case of ACCEPT or go bust. Not nice but that is the reality of the situation. | hardie1961
04/1/2009 20:33 | Do not agree with your view steelwatch. But leave it at that. | hardie1961
04/1/2009 17:08 | That Laurel has a lot to answer for... | maxk
04/1/2009 15:44 | Hardie - the only one stirring things up is you. There is nothing here for you, but you revel in appearing on threads where the shares are going through a rough patch and start goading the natives. Rather a large chip on your shoulder it would appear. Sling your hook and leave these good people alone. | steelwatch
04/1/2009 12:48 | I agree it is not a good way. But why does Ivan Burgess go to the bother of printing off some replies I give on other threads. I simply do not see the point of it.Surely people are entitled to their opinion. He obviously thinks otherwise and is attempting to stir matters up. | hardie1961
04/1/2009 12:31 | is'nt this a lovely way to start the new year off | wilburylover1 |
