05/1/2009 19:32 | Fut, New management, new finances, most likely new staff and resources (technology) all available to the Pacific Rubiales run Krappa. Its not the Krappa of olde. Very good news there. That 33 sq kms is a significant area for Acacia, there might be some oil there afterall. ;) Its 3D too, no expense spared here at the moment, not running a few 2D lines. 33sq kms not cheap, but you won't get much better. I bet the old JVP here would have been dealing with a few 2D sets. This looks much much better already. A good aggressive start to drilling, they're not hanging about that's for sure. Well already spudded on Acacia and another planned. Both wells with production legs (angled packed completions), not something olde Krappa tried. 2 wells back in production for us (Arce 4 and Acacia 1. While production is modest, its a start and more progress than I was expecting so soon. I reckon you guys that have been in here a while are already seeing the difference these Canadian folks are now bringing to the JVP. Interesting times ahead. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of these new wells on Acacia and to seeing some new reserves added (fingers crossed). Things are starting to get a little bit more interesting already.
