08/1/2014 12:22 | 3 month chart on yahoo no rise. To their credit the super team at BIOM have managed a consistent performance since Mr Mines arrived. Sadly it has been consistently abysmal for shareholders. This stock is around .07p in old money. Its a crock IMO and is worthy of highlighting the shocking performance of the directors of this company. | lwaxf13
08/1/2014 12:14 | ok but I for one are happy to see the share price rise for the past 3 months (FACT) | sirmark
08/1/2014 11:51 | Here we go?!! Where are we going sirmark? Your optimism does make me laugh. Though hat off to you, you are always polite unlike some people on these boards. I wonder if I could convince BIOM to let me bring my daughter to their offices on a daddy daughter type of work day. See WTF they do there all day. Solitaire is my guess ;-) | lwaxf13
08/1/2014 11:50 | No, a fact is something that can be evidenced by the book. You've even posted above that it is £1.70 not £1.75! if it was it would say £1.75 - it doesn't, it says £1.70 When it says £1.75 on the book then it will be a fact. This is a fact BIOM Bid: 170p Offer: 195p Change: 4.5 | begorrah88
08/1/2014 11:41 | Here we go..... 4 v 4 1.70 - 1.95 MM's still offering 1.75 FACT !!!! | sirmark
08/1/2014 11:41 | Here we go..... 4 v 4 1.70 - 1.95 MM's still offering 1.75 FACT !!!! | sirmark
08/1/2014 09:21 | begorrah88 Re SNTY,formerly ZEN.I set up that thread when the share price was five pence. It is now the equivalent of 27 pence.Timing and fluidity for me is the key.BTW,my latest total dog is BYOT.The BOD over there make PM and crew look like superstars, yet,as with BIOM,the potential is eye watering. . Lets not stray off topic though, for there is lots of fun to be had here imo. | mudbath
08/1/2014 07:22 | One last point - you do all realise that if BIOM actually signed a contract etc or had some good news to impart, they don't have to wait until an update to say so? They haven't issued any RNS etc about new contracts [the last one was Durapipe that has since..er..gone missing] and there will be a reason for that - no contracts etc This latest wave of enthusiasm and renewed belief has come about through a change in the calender - nothing else - no company updates, no volume of buying [this talk of buyers building positions etc is the same old, same old we get every time the share price nudges up a tad and it is usually the MM's luring more in etc because it never holds] just people re-positioning their views as a result of the a change in the time of year. Take a look back at this thread a year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago etc and you'll see the pattern is exactly the same. Still, can't open peoples eyes that are blind to facts and history. | begorrah88
08/1/2014 07:15 | OK Mud, now I see where we differ in opinions/expectation You think a company [SNTY] that has fallen consistently over 5yrs+ from £35.00 to £1.61 [which has even fallen back from 3 months ago] is a success. My word you do have a strange idea of investing! You might want to run your calculations again but I dare say you'll claim to have bought right at the bottom again eh? | begorrah88
08/1/2014 07:09 | You've just made that one up SM! | begorrah88
07/1/2014 20:58 | he who lives in the past doesn't see the future :) | sirmark
07/1/2014 20:21 | Well if SNTY is "failing" begorrah88, we might as well all give up. AND if SNTY represents failure I don't think I could cope with the immense riches that success would bring. | mudbath
07/1/2014 17:31 | Mud The market isn't short of dogs so thanks for the tip about SNTY but looks like that is another dog with 'potential' that has failed, and is still failing, to actually generate returns for investors. Good luck to you if you got in at 65p ish - you've had a return which is a lot more than most here have. SM You never heard of this? "he who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it" | begorrah88
07/1/2014 12:42 | Me too Mud as I see this now turning and moving forward and have also noted the moves the company has made and I am happy to wait and see despite the history....that's all it is the past...I am invested for the future not the past ! | sirmark
07/1/2014 12:00 | I am a hard headed grey beard investor begorrah88 , who just happened to think BIOM is/ was a good play at current and lower levels. You may be "right". On the other hand BIOM has achieved several significant milestones over recent months and anyone who noted these achievements and invested or does invest at around £1.70 may well reap the benefit of seeing further increases in the share price as the company progresses. The opportunity in bio plastics is there to be grasped despite those tales of angst from the past 6 years that you keep trying to scare away potential investors with. SNTY has had a very similar chequered history, losing its investors 99% of their money with a CEO seemingly incapable of turning things around. He too was derided by jaundiced holders, yet nevertheless has now repositioned SNTY to a point where significant profitability beckons. You are sure of your ultra bearish position(seemingly). I meanwhile am more than happy to stay invested. | mudbath
07/1/2014 06:49 | SM Would it not be a good idea if you closed the board and just put up a copy & paste re-run of any of the last 6 years? It would save everyone a lot of time and trouble. It's going to be the same anyway - it always is You say the world is rosy and that BIOM is going to boom - I say the opposite and we end up with me being right. All the usual old regulars will still appear like waxy, van, bold etc and Mud can just play along as whichever excited newbie he chooses to be as we have the same parade of wide eyed dreamers turn up every year just by a different name before the skulk away poorer by mid spring [calm down Mud, only having a laugh]? | begorrah88
06/1/2014 20:35 | Yeah if you're on £100K+ at BIOM :-) | lwaxf13
06/1/2014 19:58 | Going to be a smashing year | sirmark
06/1/2014 16:19 | This is next....... I can sense it :) | sirmark
06/1/2014 15:36 | You must be pleased with LLOY | sirmark
06/1/2014 15:36 | Chart does look good though. | sirmark
06/1/2014 15:35 | Not going to argue with you either robster, but the price if you wish to sell, and I tries as my post showed I was offered £1.75 and this was from Hargrease and not Fiske. Agreed we need factual news that result into to something tangible that the markets can then rate us on....at the moment we have very little in the share price for anything above cash. | sirmark |
