23/4/2014 15:29 | How much has that cup of coffee cost? I do not know how many millions Mr Mines has burned through over the years but it's a lot. I think I saw sales of £500K this morning so cost of sales since Mr Mines has been executing the"performing as expected business model" is many millions for £500K sales. Ummhh, an interesting business model. Should take that to Dragons Den and see them chomping at the bit for some that action ;-) | lwaxf13
23/4/2014 15:12 | >enjoyed a taste of success Err ... how long has Mr Mines been here? Success is not a word that springs to mind under his stewardship. | lwaxf13
23/4/2014 11:49 | But that is just what we did get! Someone who spent money like there was no tomorrow, looked after himself first, entered into litigation, spent £2m on legals and then, after telling everyone it was in the bag, walked away and handed it over to Biotec etc etc | begorrah88
23/4/2014 11:44 | So I worded it badly, maybe I should have said if 'someone' hadn't taken over from the previous lot when he did. We could of course have had instead someone like Trevellion or Barry Muncaster(See the Meldex thread) V. | vaneric
23/4/2014 11:07 | 'if he hadn't arrived when he did the company would not now exist at all' Your words Van - not mine. Maybe you have forgotten that SEO had £8million in the bank in cash when he arrived and he was brought in to turn the company around? I genuinely believe the world is full of people who could have done significantly better than Mines. | begorrah88
23/4/2014 09:55 | Well of course Grax that's not what I said, maybe some/any other person could have saved the company but that's all 'if only' talk, I could have been a millionaire at twenty 'if only' my dad had been Warren Buffet. V | vaneric
23/4/2014 09:49 | We should all be very grateful that Mr Mines stepped in and took on the leadership role at SEO. Lord only knows (can I say that in these PC times?) where this company would be had it not been for the expert stewardship under Mr Mines. It has been terrific for shareholders and the team at SEO/BIOM since he arrived. Everyone is quids in ;-) | lwaxf13
23/4/2014 09:35 | vaneric My word! That is a startling revelation! If Paul Mines hadn't stepped in there was no-one in the world that could have saved SEO! Who knew? ....and there was me thinking that there are thousands of people who could have done a better job and taken a lot less out of the company than Mines. One man in the whole of the world! My My Van you've got that hero worship love thing going on bigtime haven't you? | begorrah88
23/4/2014 09:15 | Yep Grax I'll argue with that but only on the grounds that if he hadn't arrived when he did the company would not now exist at all, it would have been in liquidation within six months if it had continued the way it was going under the previous board. V. | vaneric
23/4/2014 08:54 | no mention of being inline with management expectations for a change ! Better than expected, feeling slightly more upbeat...... | glyn10
23/4/2014 08:32 | No-one will argue with that. Edit Vaneric will! | begorrah88
23/4/2014 08:23 | Still only another £20+ rise in share price required to get it back to where it was the day Mr Mines arrived. Unquestionably an overall shocking performance. | lwaxf13
23/4/2014 07:45 | Bloody hell!! that was an upbeat update. Infact a pleasure to read. Anybody going to the AGM. A report back would be welcome. Thanks | boldtrader
23/4/2014 07:07 | Not bad at all! When I read your post last night I wondered if it was less of a guess than at first appeared - well done. At last something to be hopeful about. Best set of figures from BIOM for a long time and genuine shoots of recovery. Cash burn only £100k for Q1 I wonder whose £20k punt that was yesterday - let's hope they get rewarded although what the markets do is anyones guess thesedays. | begorrah88
23/4/2014 07:04 | Not a bad guess then | jmf69
22/4/2014 19:47 | Ok ok... Maybe 800k to 1m gbp Dream dream dream | jmf69
22/4/2014 16:07 | Agm tomorrow... I know this is going to sound ridiculous but what are the odds of revenue hitting 1m gbp for q1? | jmf69
08/4/2014 06:50 | That first article told me some things I didn't know There was £3.31 million in the bank at the end of 2013 and, although losses are expected in the next two years, there should still be £1.2 million of cash left at the end of 2015. The RF products business has won a £1.5 million contract for induction heating technology-based equipment so this division has started 2014 positively. One-quarter of the order value should be recognised in 2014. Overall revenues are expected to grow to £4.7 million 2014 and £6.5 million in 2015. The loss should reduce to £700,000 by 2015 So, according to that losses will reduce by 40% over the next 2 years [£3.31m - £1.2 million at end of 2015 = £2.11m loss but currently running at £1.69m a year!] Revenue will increase by 137%!!!!!! for 2014 and then increase again by another 38% again on those figures for 2015! Yet the results that shareholders could see said a 40% target growth, so who is misleading who here? I'd be interested to know where those cleantechinvestor figures have come from - is it Mines doing his usual of spouting hot air but not being prepared to put it in print to his own shareholders who might question such an enormous turnaround in a company? | begorrah88
07/4/2014 18:58 | Some numbers to the management expectations...http: | jmf69 |
