Thank you arja, I must admit it has been a fantastic week but I have been open about my views and this stock will continue to slip and that there is no doubt about.

you must be counting all the paper cash you have made Tweeeek and you certainly got it right . Weak again today but be careful as one positive RNS can turn your paper profit into a paper loss !

The FT ran an interesting article last night which commented on a potential asset sale of australian infrastructure and gave some details of talks held last year , to sell part of its brazilian asset .

My portfolio is going nowhere at the moment. Losses today made up with two short gold trades and Morrisons(MRW) - can`t even match the index lately :-S

yes ,BG was a real underperformer today and tweeeek was spot on . I have thought about trading the dow too with CMC as it usually has such a wide trading range unmatched elsewhere . good luck

Thanks arja. I don`t keep these positions very long at all, usually very quick trades. Usually gold and DJ index.

We`re creaking but 1070p just about holding here :-)

Oh, Ig Index are real ripoff merchants with currecny trading if keep position open overnight as they have a big admin charge and CMC do not . Cost me thousands over the years as I stupidly rarely check my statemnts and was blissfully unaware that I was being ripped off ( wry smile ! ). probably they do the same with gold and other commodities so be careful .

Doing it mainly for a hedge on my RRS holding, then buying more shares with any profits. Working ok so far.

The yanks are really messing about with gold price this week, and having a right old go now.

no, good move as now back to 1693 but gold is in a short term downtrend . Do you use a spreadbet for trading gold philanderer ? I have only traded silver a while back but got it wrong !

phil - yes, like a yoyo between 1070 and 1090 and sideways in 1076 area for last hour . I reckon it will hit 1070 again today which is not great in this mini bull market /
tweeeek- so you are taking a position and not thinking short term or trading . Fair enough if you are that convinced it will tumble but why not trade it too just in case the scenario you envisage does not eventuate , ie insurance .? I do that in OZ with MML as I hold stock but trade it with CFDs by going long on dips . each to his own I guess.

Complete Hogwash, this is just wishful thinking, it'll see 850 before first. We have more profit warnings in the offing, no growth and working in dangerous volatile unstable countries.

Its a short for me, but these are only my opinions and interpretation of the charts and research that I have done.
