octopus100 5 Sep'12 - 13:31 - 1799 of 1858

Good buying opp - 41m shares issues hit the price but nothing wrong with the company.

The Bear Man 5 Sep'12 - 15:51 - 1800 of 1858 edit

thats one big dump. can u see these at £10

bionicdog 5 Sep'12 - 18:31 - 1801 of 1858

No.

bionicdog 7 Sep'12 - 16:21 - 1802 of 1858

The fact that they were able to place that many surely underpins the price , but what do I know?
Anyway , whoever purchased them has already made 4% on the deal.

bg. is worth watching if it falls further.
it was always kept too high by bogus rumours of takeovers.
they have assets but with new extraction technology and increased exploration in remote areas they are not as prized as they once were.

i will be in at below 900p if it happens.

Not sure where they have plucked these figures from, but I can see this only heading for £6.50, there's a lot more bad news to come out yet.

But Barclays and HSBC still have 1800p and 1820p respectively :-D

FPSO Cidade de São Paulo sets sail for Sapinhoá

Following the successful integration of topsides modules and hull, BG Group's second Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, the 120 000 barrels of oil (bbl) per day Cidade de São Paulo, left the BrasFELS shipyard in Angra dos Reis near Rio de Janeiro on 11 November to begin its journey to the Sapinhoá field in the Santos Basin.

BG Group's entry into the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil, began back in 2000. With its partners, the Group has subsequently gone on to make five big discoveries – Lula, Sapinhoá, Iracema, Iara and Carioca. In the Group's view, these 'Big 5' give net reserves and resources of 6 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe), with an upside potential of 8 billion boe net*.
