09/7/2020 15:46 | Nice dividend in the bag tomorrow folks - too late for any changes now! Still fascinating to see how the FSP unfolds and underneath that a business that is firing on all cylinders. | ![]() peart
08/7/2020 11:58 | I think they might want that 20p per share dividend coming on Friday in the bank first before any possible deals are announced - small beer in the big picture but still a very nice cheque for the main director shareholders. With such apparent growth I feel buyers could swallow that. | ![]() peart
08/7/2020 11:53 | yes, I reckon Investographer, Ryanc106 and myself are all pretty much batting from the same hymn sheet. I think we will be fairly near the mark with what is going on behind the scenes and the various thought processes that are being had. Fascinating to see what happens! | ![]() peart
08/7/2020 11:17 | The popularity and brand awareness of BOTB appears to of gone through the roof recently and will very probably continue to go from strength to strength over the next few years. It's in an undeniable stage 2 uptrend. All speculation of course but £0.70 is probably pessimistic for fy21 earnings so if we assume £1 eps and a multiple of 30 that kicks out a share price of circa £30. (9.377m shares in issue) Purely depends how much growth the potential acquirers are prepared to pay up for but based on v conservative projections (Assuming they are increasing eps at the expected rate) a buyout price of £25-30 would be pretty cheap. In fact I'd be pretty annoyed if it were to go for any less that that. They can't be far off ready to let us know what's happening now. | ![]() ryanc106
08/7/2020 09:53 | Hindmarch has put in 20 years of graft into this business to get it to where it is. Another couple of years building it up would not be a big deal.He knows what he wants if this was to be sold early, so I dont know what the stalling is all about. Its about time that they concluded this sale process | ![]() investographer
08/7/2020 09:11 | In the next breath, if the 0.70 becomes 0.5 (with fwd of say 0.6)then I can see £10/share been revisited. I think this is an unlikely scenario and I certainly wouldn't be shorting the stock in the hopes of achieving that. Currently that would be very risky!! | ![]() peart
08/7/2020 09:05 | This years earnings are expected to be £0.70/share. Apparently internal forecasts were already been beaten in the start of the current year. So on the assumption that we could be talking about say £0.90 - £1.00/share, it is not foolish to assume that say the next financial year ending early 2022 could be £1.50/share. On the basis of a 30 p/e, which would be conservative for such growth, £45/share could be a very realistic price in 12 - 18 months time. The big assumption is the growth, but what I am suggesting here is certainly realistic and definitely not in the clouds sort of stuff. This might be the stumbling block to a knock out offer, as the Directors can see the growth potential really starting to kick in and yet the offerors are perhaps not prepared to pay for that growth, even though it is almost there. I appreciate that estimates are only estimates and reality will only paint the picture properly. However, I feel that investors will be more than ok with this stock regardless of an offer coming or not. | ![]() peart

07/7/2020 14:41 | Wow The Board is recommending a final dividend of 3.0p per share (2019: 2.0p) for the full year ended 30 April 2020 subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting on 16 September 2020. The final dividend will be paid on 2 October 2020 to shareholders on the register on 18 September 2020. As the Company continues to be profitable, cash generative and benefits from a robust balance sheet, the Board is also pleased to declare the return of approximately £1.88 million to shareholders by way of a special dividend (the “Special Dividend”) of 20.0p per ordinary share. The Special Dividend will be paid on 10 July 2020 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 26 June 2020. The ex-dividend date is 25 June 2020. Following the payment of the Special Dividend the Company will retain working capital cash balances in excess of £4.0 million, which the Directors consider to be sufficient working capital to fund the Company’s activities over the next 12 month period | arshadte

07/7/2020 09:06 | Come 4:30 on Thursday we have a nice dividend to look forward to on Friday. It'll be too late to stop it then, even if a deal is forthcoming. In any event, if the company is performing as expected, the dividend monies will be back in the bank already from the first 70 odd days of the new year. As such, I think its neither here nor there now in terms of valuation and perhaps the Directors want to have their cake and eat it - who knows. | ![]() peart
