29/6/2020 10:10 | Exactly Investographer same here! Something is cracking off for sure. I’d be very surprised if there wasn’t an announcement this week. | ryanc106
29/6/2020 10:09 | The way the book is looking, if this goes up a decent amount (likely today), then the company really should make a statement. | investographer
29/6/2020 10:00 | Tried a dummy sell too. They will take 5000 of my shares off me for 1510But I can only buy 1000I would love to be a fly on the wall in these negotiations! | investographer
29/6/2020 09:55 | Yes, that would be our best case scenario. Now it is in the open, we just have to wait to see who makes the first move. There will be a point when they will get around a table & the highest bidder wins. | investographer
29/6/2020 09:53 | Agreed! But not sure that will happen tbh. Someone wants my shares.. just tried a dummy sell of 3000 shares on HL and they offered me £15.40 so we’ll above ask. Somethings brewing imo | ryanc106
29/6/2020 09:50 | Only if a bid is announced. If talks fall, then an illiquid stock like this will get absolutely smashed | investographer
29/6/2020 09:17 | Let's hope so stockhunters.... | peart
29/6/2020 09:15 | The best thing for shareholders would be 2 or more interested parties that are aware that others are circling this company - someone then has to make a bold decision and move fast for fear of losing the deal. Result - knock out offer! All fun and games and interesting times for investors in this company. | peart
29/6/2020 09:14 | I bought a few | stockhunters
29/6/2020 09:09 | I hope so to Ryanc106 re the RNS offer very soon, I'd be delighted with £30 plus per share - but as we both say - Who knows. | peart
29/6/2020 09:06 | Maybe there is horse trading going on, offers in the late teens and early 20's - the company is saying no way and they are around the table - who knows. I doubt such offers though as professional advisers to all parties who are used to such matters would know that was derisory. I suspect that a sensible, without prejudice, guideline offer/s would be made off the table as it were to give some indication of intentions before a FSP announcement was made. I can't imagine such announcements are made after a brief phone call; "We'd like to consider buying you", type of stuff - surely some meat would have to be put on the bones, as it were. I suspect we'll hear something within the next fortnight, but again who knows. We're not to know until an announcement is made and all we can do is speculate until we hear! I'm impatient to hear one way or the other - I'd like a knock out all cash offer, but it may be complicated - some cash and some shares in another company... Maybe they have an agreed offer and are haggling over such terms of the offer. Who knows!! | peart
29/6/2020 08:57 | I don't think that will be the case Peart. I'm backing an offer RNS to be incoming very shortly. Who knows though. | ryanc106
29/6/2020 08:51 | If there is a negative announcement regarding the FSP, I reckon in the short term we could drop back to £12.50/share which was the price when the announcement, about the possible sale was made. Then things will recover, so long as the company continues to make positive announcements and the current performance trend continues and we will drift back up to the £21 target mentioned as the year progresses. All JMHO!! | peart
29/6/2020 08:45 | Definitely. Hopefully imminent. Because of the prolonged time its taking this makes me think that there are multiple offers and perhaps a bidding war is ongoing? | ryanc106
29/6/2020 08:43 | A lot of people on this board, myself included, think that £21/share currently is a reasonable price, certainly as the year progresses and even more so if there are upgrades by the company, based upon a p/e of 30 on current year earnings projections of £0.70 per share, backed by tremendous growth. I suspect if no knock out offer is forthcoming that come early August the company will issue a statement saying the first quarter of the year has started well and that the company is currently trading above our original internal company forecasts. No offer = £21 by late summer/autumn, maybe a lot earlier. | peart
29/6/2020 08:35 | Management here really need to make an announcement either way now.. | investographer
29/6/2020 07:58 | about to break all time highs again 2000p soon? | stockhunters
28/6/2020 15:13 | A recent blog containing my thoughts on an offer range for BOTB. GLAH 👍 hxxp://www.investedg | investedgeordie
28/6/2020 08:19 | Profits for dreamcargiveaways is actually 593k according to latest figures submitted to companies house, double from the year before. This too is successful on a much smaller scale.Https://beta.c | investographer
27/6/2020 21:24 | DCG make around £1m PBT,BOTB at £4m looks like rising to £9m+. Still competition though. The Devon one , forgotten the name are tiny. Keen to look into all competitors if anyone throws in some names. | serratia
27/6/2020 21:06 | They seem to be the next major trusted brand spoken of on pistonheads when Botb is mentioned. As you say, they are a minnow compared to Botb which shows how well Botb has been marketed in order to keep players coming back. | 3ootuk
27/6/2020 20:39 | tbh there are a lot of these sorts of competition sites springing up. Dreamcargiveaways seem to be a major competitor. The usual skill question (easy to answer), and they say how many tickets have been sold and the maximum tickets that can be sold. A Rolex watch might be £8/ticket with 2000 tickets, £10000 cash might be £1/ticket with 14000 tickets, a vw camper van at £5/ticket with 13000 tickets. Looks like minimem 40% margin if sold out, and covers competitions that don't sell out. Knowing your odds makes a massive difference. | 3ootuk
27/6/2020 16:17 | Not so sure about that Jackson! One of us will be right. | ryanc106 |
