QP maybe you can also explain your 'personal experience' with El Pais. Could it be that rather than a 'buyer in waiting' you are in fact a lot closer to the originators of the greens puff pieces in El Pais and elsewhere than you are letting on.

So QP - why dont you write to the Company and find out? Then you can post the response here.Or are your more interested in posting endless negatives as you have been for the past six months pretending to be a buyer in waiting.

herlat1,

the article in El Pais is clear enough for everybody to see, to read and to examine for themselves. And I am sure many will. Readers can draw their own conclusions.

In my personal experience, El Pais does not normally engage in writing "puff pieces" as you suggest.

That is why it is, in my view only, important for the Company either to confirm or deny what the El Pais article reports, namely that the National Courts have given the go-ahead for an appeal against the permissions earlier granted by The Ministry of Industry.

If you don't mind me saying, herlat1, you seem a little touchy and twitchy today. Let's perhaps just put that down to the unusually warm weather.

QP you are suspiciously closely well informed on the activities of the Spanish green groups who appeal every development that doesn't fit with their political objectives. My understanding is that being admissible in any court (if that is the case) has absolutely no bearing on the underlying approval until the matter is heard. As in the UK the costs to lodge such an appeal will be proportional to the value of the approval they are trying to overturn. (Otherwise bedroom greenies could constantly appeal any development at no cost.)This is why they have got the left wing El Pais to run a puff piece for them. How about you email your mates in Madrid who are sending this stuff for you to post on this blog and ask them who is going lodge the funds for the appeal and post it for us all on Monday.:-)

"known to run into months and year"

--------

If the Spanish press article is accurate, then prospective buyers and existing shareholders have a right to know in a timely manner. Otherwise they are buying the ongoing ramparoonies on a false prospectus, in my opinion. I agree such matters could run into months and years.

I intend to respond on Monday with special reference to the recent 28th. April article in El Pais

Translated by google, the El Pais headline reads:-

QUOTE

The National Court will consider the legality of the Salamanca uranium mine

The court declared admissible an appeal against the authorization given by the Ministry of Industry

UNQUOTE

For anyone with some experience of the Spanish judiciary system, they will know that appeals are not undertaken lightly by the Spanish National Courts where appeals have been known to run into months and years.

I agree with the other poster(s) that it is surprising that Berkeley have not issued an RNS about this press report.

In my view only, Berkeley should either confirm or deny whether their Ministry of Industry authorisations are the subject of a National Court appeal as suggested in El Pais by way of RNS forthwith.

I understand....thanks for that.
I've only just started visiting this board, and found QP a bit odd.
But each to their own...

QP keeps pretending (month after month) that he is a potential investor and trawls the announcements for inconsistencies and then ignores the good news and just keeps repeating and reposting the same things over and over again.QP you are not a shareholder, neither are you a short. You are clearly not a buyer in waiting as you claim - the stock has doubled since you started posting - so the question remains: why are you posting on this board?

No Spanish press RNS
No Drilling Reports RNS
No Funding RNS.
No Strategic partner RNS
No Off-take agreement RNS

They have now been talking about these items for up to six months or more. You'd think that at least one of these items would have firmed up by way of RNS by now.....

Anyone know for certain if Cerezo and Iberdrola have commenced works yet on the road and electrics?

Time-lines seem to me to be slipping on lots of things from what I can see ( apart from the prolific number of presentations at investor events and conferences).

My personal view and guess remains that potential funding/strategic/off-take partners are assessing their positions carefully in view of Spanish political turmoil and new elections announced for June.

Are u a holder here que passa? Or are u looking for a dip in share price so you can buy in? As you are always very pessimistic! This company is going to be huge....and don't forget they started the project ahead of shedule so any small delay still means they are on track! Everything seems to be moving along nicely to me....don't forget Rome wasn't built in a day ;-)You worry to much about politics....nothing is going to stop this from happening....Spain needs its revenue and EU is strongly pushing its members to nuclear energy! This is only going to grow...so if u want to buy in i suggest u do it now before its too late!!

Yes I am accumulating the next one while the volume is low.

I am accumulating on low volume days and hoping to add more before the inevitable happens. Best of luck to you too Laptop and I believe BKY will serve you very very well. PA was a really engaging speaker and absolutely single minded. Took to him a lot.

watch out for a HNR BKY link up for sure on uranium.

Geez Jaba, thats some move 10p-40p. Are u not tempted to do a little profit talking after such a rise? Then again fortune favours the brave...haha! Best of luck to you, i prefer to have my money spread out for safety reasons. I hold 10 different shares of which Berkley is one of my favourites but i am slowly but sure inceasing my stakes as i go along.

Laptop I only went all that way to see HNR present. Been in it from 10p onwards, Spoke to management privately for 30 mins...since last Monday HNR are 10p to 40p (still only 10m MC)....if everything goes according to plan...HNR imho will be £1bn

sorry for it appearing a ramp, but I had to see management and glad I did. I posted a full "public" session on it on HNR thread at 7.50 this morning.

The private session I cant post as it was private. travelled 500 miles round trip to see them. Spoke to management at length and glad I went, you get to see and judge so much by seeing people f2f.

Back to BKY I was seriously impressed with the MD of BKY...its on my watchlist and I will be buying if it retraces, he was one impressive guy, and presentation was hugely impressive.

BKY if it carries out its plan will be many many multiples of this price.
