Anyone wanting to join the party here needs yo buy quick as its only going one way! Major funding is going to announced anytime now....then the share price will shoot up towards 50p. If there is more uranium than originally thought we are through to triple figures which i am lead to believe is the case. Uranium is expected to go on a bull run too! Production updates due....watch this space!!!Ignore the politics as the EU is driving nuclear power and uranium is paramount!!Just trying to share information guys.Load up here!!

Great prospects here as the news is increasingly positive. Chart looking very strong.

Pleased I bought in and topped up on the dips.

Work commencing now and this will reinforce the price. Funding will not be a problem.

QP as Piedro (i think) shared a response by the Company with us Salamanca24hours etc are student online newspapers that write anything the student/greenies give them.Clearly the local council does not take any notice of them. Nor apparently do any serious investors:From Bloomberg, 7 Apr 2016, 06:00:00Mexico's Carlos Slim is pushing further into investments in Spain, where fellow billionaires George Soros and Bill Gates have also made bets, as he wagers on the European nation's emergence from a property crash.:-)

Good news QP as we have seen just about the only thing the politicians in Spain can agree on at the moment is that they want jobs to be created and are joining together to support keeping mines open.In this case it appears that the Mayor has lost his job because the council supports BKY's mine development.

bookvan,
"Was there previous indication from any source that the council were split on the issue?"

- in brief it says that up to a couple of months ago the public position of the mayor was 'neutral'. He wished to do a 'plebisite' on the issue but the Council of Ministers refused, from which moment he turned against the mine.

Bookvan not that i am aware of.It appears that Spain runs better without government in any case..BloombergSpain Outperforms Euro-Area Peers, Highlighting ECB's Challenge Maria Tadeo mariatadApril 5, 2016 - 10:17 AM BST Updated on April 5, 2016 - 11:19 AM BSTNation faces May 2 deadline to form government or fresh voteSpain beats Germany, Italy and France as impasse continuesSpanish services and manufacturing expanded at the fastest pace in two months, outpacing the country's euro-area peers in a challenge for the European Central Bank. The Spain Markit Composite PMI index jumped to 55.1 in March, beating the median economist estimate in a Bloomberg survey calling for an increase to 54.2. "Is it reasonable to assume therefore that the remainder of the council are unanimously in favour of the mine."

Yes - that is a reasonable conclusion. Was there previous indication from any source that the council were split on the issue? It seems to have come out of the blue.

Slightly flattering to Berkeley to call them an Australian giant / gigante australiano. I know Berkeley have their registered office in Oz. - Do you happen to know how many full-time employees Berkeley has in Australia?

What do you make of the comments in El Pais that Berkeley paid double the going rate to purchase some nearby land " al anterior alcalde, del PP, en el que ahora tiene sus oficinas"?

Resigning because he remains alone! Is it reasonable to assume therefore that the remainder of the council are unanimously in favour of the mine. Good news i would have thought!

You could have translated ...

"Calderón {the mayor of Retortillo} admits that he is resigning because he remains alone in the fight against the mineral project in the Town Hall, formed by five councilors, three of the PSOE (amongst them the mayor) and two of the PP. His two elected partners started to vote with the PP, and against Calderón, when he declared publicly against the uranium mine"

Spain is clearly the place to be ..From yesterday's FT:"Spain has been without a proper government since December, when an inconclusive general election gave birth to a deeply fragmented parliament. Party leaders have failed to build a governing majority ever since and they now seem increasingly resigned to holding a repeat election in June. Either way, prospects for a speedy end to the political deadlock appear slim. And yet, at least for the moment, there is little sign of a knock-on effect on Spain's economy. According to the latest data from Spain's central bank, gross domestic product expanded 0.7 per cent in the first three months of the year and 2.9 per cent on an annualised basis. Economic growth was only a fraction below the rate seen in the previous quarter, putting the country on course to expand 2.7 per cent this year.If that prediction holds, Spain will be one of the fastest-growing nations in the eurozone once again, outpacing the likes of Germany, France and Italy, as it did last year."
