You clearly want to buy here as you wouldn't spend so much time on this board. This is obvious to every reader here ... It's been months now and you're still here. The share price has risen 30+% and not what you wanted - clearly!

Now... I can't see any reason why you would want to 'unfilter' me unless to discredit me. Unless you just lied in the first place (which was again designed to discredit me)

Keep it professional, let's debate this and... Please explain.....

As at 31Dec 2015, Berkeley have net assets/total equity/shareholder capital of AussieDollar 23.734 million (just under sterling £13million)

They are looking to raise approx USdollar 100miliion (approx £71million) to finance the roll-out of the new mine.


Personally, in my opinion only I don't see how they can avoid issuing more equity with a capital base of just £13m versus a financing requirement of £71m equiv.


Even if they can write up the balance-sheet value of the mine if/when they release the much anticipated RNS's for any new Zona-7 type deposit finds, I personally still don't see how they can finance the project on the strength of their existing balance-sheet alone.

My guess (and that is all it is) is that a not-insignificant amount of new equity will need to be issued.

If my guess is on track about the requirement to issue new equity, the question remains as to when, how much and to whom. And of course the price at which it is issued, placed or subscribed to.

Any of the above scenarios would of course be aided by a higher share price. The higher the current share price, the less the dilution.

But because the company is not producing hard income currently from the mine, actual earnings and profits cannot drive the share price.

Other things like upward valuations, investor sentiment, RNS announcements, new deposit finds, sector news, increase in uranium demand and pricing may or may not stimulate the theoretical value of the project. And in turn the current share price.

Any company income derived from mining operations at the mine is not observable until 2018 so financing must be based on theoretical future cash-flows and future projected values.

My guess is that equity is a not-insignificant part of the financing for the project.

What do you guys think when major funding is in place.....will the share price rise due solid funding being put in place....or will there be a big dilution and a huge number of shares issued causes the share price to go down quite substantially?I'm looking to increase my holdings again as i see this a great long term play! Just don't want to add in the mid/high 20's if it my drop to 12-15p for example.What do you guys reckon?

Wow I don't know much about how the City works but I don't think the CEO was giving a commitment more an idea.

The facts remain. We've got a whole bunch of uranium and possibly loads more. We're on site building access roads etc. Uranium demand world wide has to increase with the drive for clean energy. The CEO has great contacts in China. The political thing is a red herring no Govt will bin jobs in such an economically deprived area.

Let's see whether Berkeley deliver on what herlat1 wrote. Already c.95% through the time-line and no announcement yet.

I know what I think as to whether they will hit or miss.

Until there is news of a new development there will be nothing new.

What is happening though is that Mr. Atherley is doing the rounds to promote the project and a recent interview has been published.

Whether he is wasting our time and money or doing a good/bad job would be more appropriate for discussion
