03/4/2008 12:01 | does'nt look good, big drop today continuing the downward trend.. Something brewing maybe? | denpot
01/4/2008 10:50 | Surely this must be a snip at this price - only thing holding us down is the US economy!! but with the recent injection from the Fed this should improve in Q3/Q4 methinks! | killieboy
28/2/2008 14:01 | Dresdner Kleinwort said: 'We retain our 'buy' recommendation as we believe BBA has an attractive portfolio of growing and highly prized assets which are now attractively priced.' not surprised given the pe ratio for 2008, these arew orth closer to 300p than 200p. Moving back north quickly now. | dontyo
28/2/2008 13:56 | seems a buy bot has kicked in, maybe the bot realises these are a bit cheap... | dontyo
28/2/2008 13:43 | £/$ could hold us down. | killieboy
28/2/2008 12:57 | look a steal these given revised figs for next year. | dontyo

19/1/2008 12:32 | Maybe the are just not making any money due to the slowdown in the US but let us hope I am wrong. | killieboy
17/1/2008 17:43 | These must be a target at this price surely? un-less something big is happening behind the scenes with regards to BBA buying something else and taking on a lot of debt to do it?? any ideas..Dollar is getting stronger which should help.. | denpot
16/11/2007 12:11 | This co is reliant on US$ earnings therefore will not be going anywhere until that settles down - in my opinion? | killieboy
15/11/2007 15:14 | Just gone long at £2.185p, fundamentally a steal at these prices, at some point this must surely be a takeover candidate | eastbourne1982
09/11/2007 08:35 | Quite like the look of today's news, so have topped up. | thamestrader
28/9/2007 11:03 | Agree, the results were pretty good. I would suggest that it is the £/$ rate that is stagnating the share price as a good % of their earnings come from across the pond. | killieboy
27/9/2007 12:01 | These look very attractive, currently sitting at around £2.27p, recent results were excellent so the recent share price fall is bemusing | eastbourne1982
30/8/2007 18:09 | Looks like a very nice set of H1 results to me....and the Group Chief executive has at last purchased some shares in this company.... The Company has received notification today that Simon Pryce, Group Chief Executive, acquired 45,000 BBA Aviation plc ordinary 29 16/21 pence shares at 236.3159p per share on 30 August 2007. Mr Pryce's total beneficial holding following this notification is 45,000 shares. | johnsoho
24/7/2007 13:58 | Finally lost patience with these and sold. They are in a booming market (private jets & small airport services) but struggle to produce consistent earnings growth. They always seem to be adding and dropping bits of the company, which worries me. A highish p/e, only average yield, and the prospect of further US$ weakness don't help. Goodbye & good luck. | bigbertie
20/7/2007 11:16 | Sold Oxford airport but, likewise, no share price reaction. LONDON (Thomson Financial) - BBA Aviation PLC said it has completed the sale of Oxford Aviation Services Ltd to OA Acquisitions for a debt-free, cash-free consideration of 40 mln stg. Oxford Airport has been owned and operated by BBA since March 2000. In the year ended 31 December 2006, the airport had a turnover of 4.5 mln stg and an operating profit of 0.3 mln. The sale will net BBA around 24 mln stg, which is expected to be tax-free. BBA said the disposal represented a good deal for the company. "The sale of Oxford Airport has been completed at an attractive price to BBA Aviation and the disposal will be immediately earnings enhancing," said Simon Pryce, BBA's chief executive in a statement. | thamestrader
28/6/2007 10:13 | quite a positive trading statement but no share price reaction. the businesses seem to be running well, but numbers will be affected by continued US$ weakness. I also noticed they expected progress in UNDERLYING results for the year - I hope that doesn't mean that they forsee any big exceptional charges. On the bright side, the numbers will benefit from a £20m gain on disposal. This has been a disappointing share since the demerger but with business jets being a growth market I expect a US economic recovery and a stronger US$ to send this up fast. How long we have to wait for that is another matter... | bigbertie |
