16/8/2003 10:39 | I see this is rising nicely | chestnuts
14/8/2003 15:59 | Haystacks i have been following BBA for the last 4 weeks and have been waiting for it to get over 240p as their is no resistance upto 330p and as the results are out on the 2nd of Sept this should rise nicely. imo | chestnuts
14/8/2003 01:28 | BBA has been picked for trading tomorrow by www. robotpickedstocks. com | haystack
27/6/2003 13:43 | This looks like a classic case of insider trading ahead of a Company statement. For the last fortnight the share price has been in reverse ( from 225p down to 200p ) implying that some already had access to not-generally available news. Today's bounce ( from 200p to 210p ) is presumably a bit of bear closing going on. One for the watchdogs to investigate! | networker
30/4/2003 00:05 | Since I last posted on these sentiment has improved significantly. The recent price graph looks encouraging. There would appear to be some resistance around the 200p level but if it can be cleared the shares seem set to continue progress as more brokers and institutions are quietly picking up stock. | networker
05/3/2003 09:45 | on the slide again...nice bounce yesterday for the big institutions to bail out from...if the results are that pleasing should private investors now take in some stock or wait for this weekends second round of war drum beating by the war mongers? | l2e
04/3/2003 08:22 | Results are positive and statement as good as could reasnably be expected in current geopolitical climate. If Fidelity stop selling these could bounce quite a bit. | networker
03/3/2003 11:54 | I am supprised that Fidelity are selling stock in this one. | boram
03/3/2003 10:37 | On the face of it the shares seem cheap and oversold. However, Fidelity have sold some 12-13 million shares since the beginning of this year reducing their holding to 5 per cent from 8 per cent. They seem to have been dribbling the shares into the market and are probably largely responsible for the price having gone from the 180p level in January to current 145p. Much will depend on what they do in the future. As for the results, they've already been signalled as 'in line' and it is comment about the future trading which will be important. | networker
02/3/2003 16:48 | Finals are out on Tuesday 4th. what do you think, up or down. | boram
17/12/2002 12:56 | a trip[ back north here then....all the best | l2e
04/9/2002 00:04 | Interims not too bad - like sales slightly up and debt reduced in very difficult circustances. If the US wakes up the shares could take off - I don't see much more downside risk. Time to buy for the medium term I think. | bigbertie
03/4/2002 23:20 | i am amazed there isnt more discussion on this one it is a sure riser up to atleast 330p at this point the RSI may kick in and there could be a short downturn but even after that i think the outlook will conitinue upwards. | championismo
03/4/2002 22:51 | www.frequenttrader.i your stock selected today | chicken
03/4/2002 22:46 | These will continue up till their next earnings update atleast, as analyst and broker forecasts have been going up. | championismo
09/3/2001 10:20 | redchef I have been watching bba since it was over 500p and waited I am sure it has bottomed now more directer buys in the offing so now im in. regards mm. | mighty mousie
08/3/2001 13:42 | I must admit though that my guestimate of 3.50 is now beginning to look doubtful. The share price should retrace its fall by 30-50% at some point (after which it my slide again) but the value of the retracement will depend on when the fall bottoms out. I thought it had bottomed out last night :( There are of course exceptions to the retracement principal. If a company is going bust etc. but this stock is sound, it has just had a series of unwelcome announcements and the theory is that the market always over reacts. | redchef
08/3/2001 13:38 | Rhyme means in this context, that history will never repeat itself in identical fashion but because of the 'herd mentality' of all investors acting as a group, trends and reactions will always be similar to those seen for the same stock in similar situations. So not the same, but, similar patterns is the message. As Andy has observed there is a pattern to the way the market reacts to movements in the price of BBA, as there is in all stocks, whether it be short, medium or long term. | redchef
08/3/2001 10:16 | red chef what does rhyme mean? I have been watching this stock for some time although I dont own any. I think there is some small company restructuring to come so may see an ease in the price still. As I get more info I ll post. regards mm | mighty mousie
08/3/2001 09:43 | According to my favourite bed time read (Technical Analysis Plain & Simple - Michael N Khan - How sad am I) history does not repeat itself but it DOES RHYME ! This stock just has to bounce at some point. Even a normal retracement pattern should now make it a profitable short term buy if nothing else. Foolishly I got on board too soon and caught a falling sword, I am not in profit until it gets into the 3.00+ again but I am content to wait as I think 3.50 is a distinct possibility within a week. 07/3/2001 12:00 | Does todays drop represent a good buying opportunity??? its happenend on several occasions before. This share looks to have track record of sudden rises and falls could history repeat again. Andy | andy backhouse
28/1/2001 13:08 | Chart looking more interesting now. Triple bottom of 335 and a move above 360 should see some upward movement. Mike. | alkrington
15/11/2000 20:44 | BBA chart look interesting. I would like to hear from any BBA holder about news/rumours/views on this stock. with nasdaq about to fall 2.5 k, i am looking for defensive recovery stocks and BBA could be one of them. | biomax |
