As expected, buyers piling in pre (much improved?) results.

Looking forward to Thursday, and the next couple of days.

Going to effect the whole aviation business to my mind this volcanic ash.

Strike and ash disruptions push BA into £164m quarterly loss

Those late trades are rather worrying.

CR, I have added heavily of late, just cautious about 5 figure after bell disclosures which (although not always easy to call) look like sells, and are being reported now daily.

I will continue to hold.

(agree on reflection 'big' is a little melodramatic.....lol)

Good to see you back in TTG CR.

Couldn't care who's selling really - there's always buyers and sellers. Any trade on Set's is a buy and a sell but if there's a big seller and these are staying near that recent high I'm happy.

Doesn't look a big trade to me - 50k?

Good shout CR.

Been tucking these away after being a guest of Signature at Luton Airport for three days in June where my friend is Director of Operations.

VERY interesting info gathered, place was heaving Wed to Fri, slowed down Sat (which is normal). Following the visit I added an extra 50% to my holding.

(Off topic)...also adding TTG......if I remember rightly, you are in them CR????
Numbers due very soon.

Been buying these lately - trading statement due any day.

Charles Stanley initiated with a buy in May:

"Charles Stanley initiates BBA Aviation (BBA.LN) at buy with 250p price target. Says the business is highly cyclical and is geared to business jet use which is now recovering strongly, with positive and accelerating year-on-year growth in 1Q'10 and March recording 18% like-for-like increases. "It has restructured its operations, reduced costs and is now in a position to benefit from a recovery in business jet use, which is the key driver for earnings growth." Shares -2% at 183p."
