18/8/2006 07:52 | come on baby £3--£3.30-£5.40 lift off RNS NEWS DUE | mr demolition
18/8/2006 06:33 | great chart by fingers of bba(£1)thread. | mr demolition
17/8/2006 20:47 | Disposal of fiberweb on the cards and reports of higher profits should lift BBA 50% upside still to come. | mr demolition
17/8/2006 20:31 | No. There was an RNS today but of little interest. I also noticed a big trade (1.7million shares) late in the day. I would like to think that following the problems and delays on scheduled airlines there has been a surge in business at small airports and in corporate / private jets, which will boost BBA results. Better still a captain of industry travelling in a private jet has realised this and is starting to buy up the shares with a view to takeover. (Just my fantasies) | bigbertie
17/8/2006 16:03 | Add a bit more to your target sp, demo, and I might even get my money back! 8-) Regards, Ian | jeffian
17/8/2006 15:37 | If the dsposal of fiberweb is true and results are excellent this will rocket.£3 level is the 18 year resistance level. So a break above £3 should open BBA upto £3.40 plus.very bullish either way.Not long before the news breaks. | mr demolition
17/8/2006 15:23 | Well, the recent share price activity, after a pretty dull spell, certainly suggests that something is in the wind. I suppose the obvious candidate is a revived Fiberweb disposal; I know the air servicing side has been going quite well but anything to do with planes must be tainted by current security fears, mustn't it? Regards, Ian | jeffian
17/8/2006 15:16 | Results out 31st aug 2006 smart buying from standard life ahead of results? Are the results going to be better then the city is expecting?more contract wins or bid target. | mr demolition
17/8/2006 13:24 | Decent rise, any ideas/news? | denpot
27/6/2006 18:48 | some action at last - they are serious about demerging Fibreweb then. | bigbertie
12/6/2006 22:20 | Yes I am, bigbertie. I think it's called 'inertia'! 8-) Regards, Ian | jeffian
12/6/2006 11:14 | just back from trip to France, and have checked my dividend again - it is 8.3p of course. I can't think what happened (the div was paid into an ISA so I didn't see the cert). jeffian - you still holding? I am, because I think there is some upside when the company finally does something decisive....although it looks pretty gloomy at the moment. | bigbertie
23/5/2006 21:53 | It says 8.3p on my divi certificate, bigbertie. What you on? Regards, Ian | jeffian
23/5/2006 20:08 | can anyone confirm the amount of the final dividend just paid? The results said 8.3p per share, but I seem to have received 7.47p..... | bigbertie
22/5/2006 12:56 | but commodity and oil prices weakening now, are'nt they? | bigbertie
19/5/2006 11:36 | not good guys, continuing to drop.looks like it's the higher material costs hurting the profit at the fibreweb division??? | denpot
28/4/2006 14:39 | what a dismal day - is anyone else still in this lot? I'm a bit surprised though, the aviation side is ahead of expectations and the demerger of Fibreweb is the sensible thing to do now. I'm still holding, expecting a rerating when demerger is done and a brilliant new CEO is in place. | bigbertie
13/4/2006 18:48 | message 89 seems to be missing - I'm posting this to try and flush it out edit - no, it still hasn't appeared! | bigbertie
12/4/2006 15:56 | One step forward and two steps back...and even some big leaps both ways seems to be way of it lately. So when I found this I was so impressed I'm passing it along! | asketgab
12/4/2006 15:44 | 8.3p of the drop today is the ex-dividend adjustment. it's dropped a bit more than that, probably because some people were waiting for the divi before selling | bigbertie
12/4/2006 14:47 | hi, any ideas as to why the recent drop? could it be fibreweb problems? | denpot
08/4/2006 11:37 | Morning. Bought a few of these on Friday. Shares look cheap. Reasonable divi due Wednesday. Can't be all bad can it? | penycae
17/3/2006 12:16 | Just want one of these spikes to stick. | edgark |
