BATM also reports progress with its Covid-19 diagnostic kits. The company continues to ramp up delivery of its kits that are for use by medical facilities and the development of its kit for home-use, in partnership with Novamed, is on track to be completed within the next three months as planned.

Amusing I was watching Celitron just before the announcement about the ventilators and posted a few links to what they are doing and the areas they are involved in. Celitron also make sanitizing solutions for airports, hospitals which are specifically targeted. I was expecting them to continue their success with the large agricultural units which I believe are essential to the way we handle animal production in the food chain.
This win will I imagine pull focus on the other items Celitron manufacture.

It was appreciated to get an update on the tests and this market has become a new sector unto itself. They have shrunk the footprint and timeframe for standard PCR tests normally done in a large lab to the size of a bench top analyzer. These type of units should be installed in Nursing Homes, Airports, clinics. The strength of this product over the competition is that it is compatible with existing tests, its size allows it to be installed virtually anywhere, the results are fast, the results are ACCURATE, the units will test for a range of infectious diseases.

There will be competition here but the company have been working on the infectious disease testing solutions for years before the Covid19 outbreak. The size of this market is now huge.

The current share price in no way represents the value of BATM's IP and like today it just keeps expanding. As mentioned we have the 5G business and Telco systems NFVTime which is another mega project.

IHC did 50% rise on £5m contract from NHS, so BATM with £27m contract announced today this should have been closer to 75p

Thoroughly agree.If the diagnostic tests take off the shares are going to fly.You may even see a split into two companies as the medical division would be much bigger.

No reference to which European country ordered them, I suspect the UK has sufficient ventilators and orders in place already.

There will be more opportunities ahead as countries prepare for a second wave of the virus later in the year. That should work well since I would not be surprised to see a dramatic fall in infections as the Summer weather starts which could help to restore normality for 6 months or so allowing manufacturing of such products go ahead at full steam.
