11/12/2020 17:26 | Youtube to Remove Election Fraud Content YouTube says it will be blocking and removing content that talks about allegations of election fraud, despite multiple lawsuits remaining unresolved in key battleground states. The Google-owned firm says this new policy was put in place because the Dec. 8 “safe harbor” deadline had passed. They claim that “enough states have certified their election results.” But there are still outstanding legal challenges, including one in the Supreme Court. YouTube’s statement did not mention any of this, and did not mention the Electoral College vote date on Dec 14. YouTube says it will “start removing any piece of content … that misleads people.” For example, “videos claiming that a presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors” will be removed. The enforcement will ramp up in the coming weeks. Since September, they’ve deleted over 8,000 channels, and thousands of videos—most of which were taken down before they got 100 views. The company says it will guide people to “authoritative information” provided by corporate news outlets such as ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN. But over the past month since the election, these news outlets have provided little coverage of lawsuits or allegations of election fraud. Some say this censorship is reminiscent of communist tactics. | ![]() stonedyou
11/12/2020 16:50 | Texas AG claims he DOESN'T have to show there was fraud for Supreme Court to overturn election and says it's now up to swing states won by Joe Biden to PROVE their results are genuine Trump is seeking to intervene in Texas AG's lawsuit to get SCOTUS to rule Pennsylvania and other lawyers called the suit 'seditious' and 'dangerous' Blasts 'cacophony of bogus claims' Eviscerates claim Biden's chance of winning was 'one in a quadrillion' 'Texas invites this Court to overthrow the votes of the American people' More than 100 House Republicans signed onto the Texas suit Texas AG responded with filing Friday Says he is not asking the court to 'reelect President Trump' Claims it is 'impossible to know which candidate garnered the majority of lawful votes' Says case relies on the 'appearance of fraud' Brushes off string of lower court losses, says Texas was not a party to them Brief: 'Texas IS likely to prevail' Seeks to enjoin states from certifying their electors or 'vacate' certification to let their GOP legislatures appoint electors The Republican attorney general of Texas whose suit seeks to have the Supreme Court overturn the election claims in a new filing it is 'impossible' to know who won the election – and faults four states for failing to 'show' that Biden won. AG Ken Paxton, who has been photographed with the Trump in the presidential limousine and who is under indictment but maintains his innocence, responds to the charge that his lawsuit seeks to 'overthrow the votes of the American people.' Although the suit seeks to overturn the vote in four states that went for Joe Biden, Paxton rejects the claim. 'Texas does not ask this Court to reelect President Trump, and Texas does not seek to disenfranchise the majority of Defendant States’ voters,' according to the response. 'To both points, Texas asks this Court to recognize the obvious fact that Defendant States’ maladministration of the 2020 election makes it impossible to know which candidate garnered the majority of lawful votes,' according to the filing. The suit seeks to overturn the vote in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania – which would be sufficient to award Trump the White House. The suit claims the states violated the constitution through major expansions of mail-in voting amid the pandemic. 'Texas IS likely to prevail' according to the brief. | ![]() stonedyou
