The weaker pound has helped the FTSE. The FTSE is up 32 points. Now the companies that the weaker pound favours, I.e BAT and Bunzl are up. Whereas the companies that are not going to do well with a weak pound I.e Land securities, house builders and Lloyd’s bank. They are all down

I thought that if the pound falls, it's good for the UK stock market because we sell more, as our goods are cheaper to overseas buyers. It doesn't seem to be working out that way this morning.
