Chris - We will need yet one more cell added, to display the stake for each bet.

I'll bet you hope I don't think about it anymore.

SimonBB - i never allow rumours to control my actions. Whatever the decision from the 'European dictators' will be, it will take 5 years to put in action. I don't know (no one:) the outcome of this but either way LLOYDS is going to be a winner in years to come. That's why i only buy and hold. The more i buy the more i will have a chance to hold for the long run. I will sell part of it at 150p.
I must say i sold today also (like g2) at 380.5p, a bit early i know.

K38 and G2...What can I say!

Should have bought in yeterday, or even today before I went out diving, had I put £15k into it ( like I was going to ), I would have made £900 !!

Aaah!

Just off to the woods with a shotgun :-)

Never mind, there will be other times.

I think this and Vedanta (VED) are my ones to watch at the mo

VED went up even more today, bastuds!

Also looking at BAE ( BA.)

They're due a bounce...this time I'll be in not fannying around

Well done guys, you did well!!

K38 given the rumours surrounding RBS branches in the press today do you not think that LLOY punishment by the European dictators might be more harsh, they have gained an enormous market share in the most anti-competitive and potentially lucrative acquisition of the century. Lloyds banking group is now enormous in the retail and business banking space. BARC & HSBC will pick up those customers that RBS and LLOY are forced to firesale. "Williams and Glynn" you're joking, that is an inefficient idea!

Chris - I've updated the results table and you will see that we finished with a profit of £402.57 today. 3 completed trades, + 2 closed at the end and 1
opened outside the R1/S1 range.

Chris

I'll be posting todays trades into the header about 5pm so you will see how they work out. The rule is IF THE OPEN IS BETWEEN PP & R1 THEN OPEN A LONG IF IT CROSSES R1 AND HOPE TO CLOSE IT AT R2'.

Thanks for helping, as I said previously 'advfn will give you a 1 week trial FOC', but what I didn't say is that you need to ring them and ask for it saying that you are considering the option.

The other thing I didn't mention in my e-mail was that I was intending to do some upgrading to the code when I've got the basic working. I want to close half a successful trade and leave the other half to run to the next level, or if it reverses to close the trade as it comes back. There is nothing lost in doing this but everything to gain. The trouble is that I've realised this will mean entering data into more columns and since that's what I haven't been able to do, I thought I should mention it to you at this stage.

Good luck with your endeavors.

Thanks k38, good luck to you too. This surely is the one to concentrate on rather than Lloyds if C and Goldman tomorrow and BAC and GE on Friday do well.

left last month for his 'long' holidays at Butlins :)

lololol

BARC is finding 'hard' so far to break 81p, may DOW will help later.
To hold the gains today, we must break 82p mark.
