Good update from AIB this morning, well received by the market with follow on for the BIRG share price Our update on Monday, hopefully positive. Announcement of an interim dividend would be nice, however unlikely this time around.

For whatever reason the closing price in the UK for BoI has not been correct - its the irish price thats the main listing and drives the price in reality - so the movement in uk is distorted and confusing now - i just the Irish market now - same price but closing seems to be different / anyways down though .....

Great to see a positive day, the recent weakness was worrying, off over €2 at one stage. I put it down to the banking issues in the US. The most recent bank in trouble was the 14th largest, that has to be a concern. Any further issues and we will see our share price heading south again.
