Up to E5.69 this morning. Nice, as a longtime holder (almost 4 years) I need a bit more to break even. Good results in Feb awaited with interest. GLTA

Government are not due to be fully sold out till May. We are due an update again soon in which I expect their holdings to be below 8%. Who knows maybe they have offloaded the rest already but we should be notified if that s the case.
I'm holding again for 2022, this could easily do another 100% upside in the next 12 - 18 months

I noticed that a few members of the bird had spent a few Euros, about time. I believe that the share price is heading north, I have an exit price, I may well see it in '22 however I'm not holding my breath.GLTA. May '22 be our year!

More likely our Minister is off loading shares again. I can't understand why he doesn't sell it in one block. It's not as if their isn't a dozen pension funds that bank of Ireland is eligible to acquire. I think it is down to cronyism for fear he'd be accuse of selling on the cheap. Well what he is doing now is exactly that. If they had any brains they would have held 10% as this would keep then on the Board of boi, and a front row seat to the activities of the lending sector. Instead he sells the shares to Wallstreet, so he can't be moaning in the future when the share price has trebled and they are Milking the customers for every last cent of profit.

Turns out it's been Blackrock, nothing unusual to see with them

Pension expectations need to be managed better, no political party wants to grasp that issue (not many votes to be had) People need to be told just how important the issue is.

I don't expect so, the Government is selling more aggressively of late, the good side of that is there is an unknow buyer soaking up all the shares. Probably a pension fund
which is Ironic as Ireland will have trouble funding the state pensions in a few years down the road

Those are good results. Bank is moving forward nicely. It looks like the kbc and Davy deals will go through. Financially transformative is the language they are using and they are very bullish on business growth strategy. I think 2022 onwards is lining up to be a few fantastic years ahead for them, all very good but they still need to get the rest of the Government monkey off their back so it's hold tough for another few months, but 100%-150% upside from here is again possible.

Well they bought it with cash - cash they was earning nothing - so in the current environment a safe 2% is a good deal Plus there could be ancillary revenues that will come with these clients not included in the 2% Eg they might start using BOi for transactional banking activities - who knows

Per Degiro up 3.24% on the day, that will do nicely. Hopefully more next week.
