cumnor: Norwegian oil fund involvement positive but share price clearly being toyed with by one of the US banks or hedge funds and there is little to be done about it. Good opportunity to add for medium term.

hayfield: Blackrock adding, share price drops hmmm whats going on???? I'm not selling now that they are buying. Expect more tree shaking to loosen those weak holders of their shares. They've been shaking the $h'' out of this with the last 6 months, surly all the free float and weak holders are mopped up by now

hayfield: Share price is where it is due to manipulation. My guess is Blackrock are making a killing here, they've been active all year selling and buying yet they end up with the same percentage as they had 12 months ago. The fact is there is no large holder here to guard against manipulation so when you invest in this share you are in effect handing money over to the manipulators Eventually these will be at so low a position that we will get consolidation across the whole banking sector

badger8888: It's not long since this was over €6. Hopefully certainty with a new government may put a floor under the share price.

tiananmen: Amazing how one thread talks so negatively and another talks about how much of a bargain BOI is now. The only reason for this share price being low is due to Brexit uncertainty, Ireland's economy is incredibly healthy and the EU will want to turn the knife on Britain making a stupid decision and support Ireland economically after Oct passes.

craffert: Hard Brexit on 31 Oct and a significant chunk of Irish Bank assets are immediately impaired, at a time when those customers will also need extra liquidity. Even worse for BOI as the UK also takes a crunch hit. Share price reflects the probability of this. Shocking.

datahead: Thx for that good read - not often a broker report says improving dividend and higher share price good combo ! I think franchesa was a great move - young and internet savvy - has to be the way to go

avidacre: What is wrong with this bank, will the share price ever go up.

djderry: Ah lads, c'mon now, that's seven euro, and surely you can give them more than a few days before we can tell how the company and subsequently the share price is performing, let's review it on, say,(and this time line is equally arbitrary) January 2020.
