Morning to you,

You need to look back at the RNS's issued one of them contains the dates for payment of Divi's. They published one only a few days ago that contained all the dates for this Quarter. It is normally headed "Dividend Election" dated 14/10/2013. All my Santander shares are in my ISA and I only take shares to avoid the Spanish withholding tax. So my gut feeling is probably they do allow script although I am not sure if I am entitled to script on my holding.

I'm new to BNC and have a couple of questions I'd like to ask older hands on here if you don't mind:-

1. Where can I find out XD and pay dates?

and

2. Does anyone hold them in Selftrade and, if they do, do they allow scrip dividends in either or, or both, of the dealing account and the ISA account?

Rat attack - Hargreaves Lansdowne give you the scrip option automatically; I moved all my holdings to them from selftrade for this reason

Can somebody just confirm that if you take shares rather than the dividend you are entitled to 1 new share for every 41 shares you already hold? I just want to be sure I have read the RNS correctly.
