50 day MA is just crossing the 200 day MA (a Chartists golden cross). I'm not a chartist but this is a strong bull signal for many so you have to keep monitored.

... I sold into gap up last week @ 501 ... but got back in at 498 for pennies ...

News from Spain is starting to look good .. tourism up 6% this year on turkey and Egyptian woes....

Not to forget that Santander's model has been to buy distressed banks like Abbey National, Bradford & Bingley, Alliance & Leicester in the UK ... and in other countries by simply issuing more shares ....

Anytime you can buy under £5 per share is a bargain. This is a steady bank being effected by its association with Spain. imo quite wrongly.

undervalued using pe and div yield, undervalued using price to book, it's just really really undervalued. The threat of a spanish crises has receded.

Yep - the quarterly divis come round very quickly. Ex-div Wed 16 Oct.
CIFU & GLIF for good quarterly divis as well. Hopefully BARC will be able to ramp up its quarterly divi after the RI.

I am with santander and have been paying since the 123 accounts launched. Get a good return on bills you pay.
