BAE Systems, a leader in heavy-duty electric propulsion, will supply its next-generation electric power and propulsion systems for three hydrogen fuel cell buses in Rochester, New York, allowing them to run free of emissions. The company will provide its Gen3 electric drive system for ElDorado National (California)’s Axess® EVO-FC™ hydrogen fuel cell bus. This technology will advance Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority’s goal of reducing its carbon footprint and transitioning to a zero-emission fleet.

No, apart from a few narrow exceptions not applicable here, buybacks don't influence share prices. Though small private investors love to believe that they do.

This chart is a Thing of Beauty; surely not due to the buybacks. Perhaps the UK's flagship defence co is finally being appreciated for what it is, and rerated towards an American p/e?
Or do speculators feel that there's a lot more backfill supplies needed due to the hell going on in Ukraine?

Australia will buy British-designed nuclear-powered submarines under the terms of a long-term deal which is due to be unveiled in the United States next week, multiple sources have suggested.

Saudi Arabia has joined the UK, Italy and Sweden on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) project.

The Saudi Minister of Defence tweeted:

“We signed a declaration of KSA’s intent to participate in the Future Combat Air System program (FCAS) which will strengthen KSA’s defensive capabilities through a comprehensive partnership that includes joint production and R&D projects for future air systems.”
