Coronavirus: Fall Predicted In European Defence Spending

Leading defence analysts have warned the coronavirus pandemic is to cause a significant decrease in European defence spending.
In the medium term, defence spending among European nations is set to fall by almost 20%, according to research by defence and security analysis agency, Janes.
Before the pandemic, it predicted European defence spending would reach $324.4 billion in 2025, however, it now forecasts $270.9 billion.

UK sticking with Huawei ‘too great a risk’ to US F-35 deployment in UK

American Senator Tom Cotton warned the Defence Select Committee that the UK’s decision to allow Huawei to build aspects of its 5G network “raises too great a risk for us to have that advanced aircraft in any nation with this system”, he said speaking of US F-35 deployments in the UK.

Still under-performing in terms of share price, should be 590 by now based upon the recent upturn in the FTSE and DOW. Not sure why it isn't. Future orders are good, and the business has been less impacted than others. Germany and Italy also about to place large Typhoon orders

Cities are aiming for a future with zero emissions and turning to public transportation to get them started. BAE Systems is helping them get there with electric power and propulsion systems for transit buses.

The Italian government is preparing to approve the sale of 6 frigates, twenty naval patrol boats, 24 Eurofighter fighter bombers and 24 M346 trainer planes to Egypt. A “deal of the century” that for Italy does not only have a commercial and industrial value. Among a thousand difficulties, Italy wants to maintain a solid relationship with Egypt .

According to the Italian newspaper La Republica, the Italian government is set up to soon approve the MEGA defense deal with Egypt that includes:
