When the Germans stop selling them Mercedes, Porsche and BMW then maybe we should rethink our arms sales.

"Defence companies BAE Systems (BAES.L) and Rolls Royce (RR.L) were down 2.2 percent and 2.5 percent respectively on growing calls for Europe to halt arms sales to Saudi Arabia after the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi"

We'd be crazy to halt arms sales. Thousands of jobs depend on such.

And it's not as if Germany exports much in the way of arms to Saudis(They've knocked such sales on the head) and someone else(US,China,Russia) would just move in and supply instead.

In this modern era we have to hold our noses and continue selling imo.

Khashoggi was a nasty shyster, Moslem brotherhood and frankly I suspect he had it coming. Nasty way to go though for sure.

Belgium Reportedly Picks US F-35 Over Eurofighter Typhoon

The Belgian government reportedly plans to allocate a total of 15 billion euros (17.2 billion dollars) for the purchase and maintenance of the 34 new warplanes.

Is that decision final? They mentioned it 3 days ago or so. Wondered if the decision had finally been made.

Bit late being released but BAE at AUSA 2018

The Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting is the largest landpower exposition and professional development forum in North America, bringing together hundreds of Army and industry exhibitors with the common goal of supporting the warfighter. This year, BAE Systems (booth #1103) is showcasing how we are driven to deliver advanced technology where it counts.

Yes. After this:

"Blind hatred of America and it's foreign policies is sixth form socialism to a tee. Political equivalent of daddy issues."

A disrespectful comment implying that my views and understanding of the world haven't progressed since sixth-form and implying anyone who does have some positive thoughts towards socialism the same. Disrespectful!

And then "Daddy issues" - what is all that about?

Here is the Minerve lesson:

Respect me. I'll respect you.

Sarcastic comments will not be ignored.

"Defence spending under President Trump and a continuing boom in air travel boosted Boeing, leading the aircraft manufacturer to raise its full year profit guidance after reporting better than expected third-quarter results. Shares in Boeing were trading about 3 per cent higher at $360.50 by mid-morning in New York" - FT yesterday.

"But despite the fact I'm still young enough to wake up with an erection I have managed to build businesses from scratch on 3 continents and am currently expanding my Caribbean incorporation across various other islands, so I will leave the atlas for the bookshelf thank you."

May I suggest you focus on your business then rather than making childish comments towards others who are more experienced and know what they are talking about. You will soon find out I know more. Your ego may struggle to deal with that fact. If your business is so successful I would recommend you leave ADVFN and focus your time and efforts on that. It will provide a better return than socialising and listening to morons here and investing in shares that on average will fail to live up to expectation.
