31/10/2018 08:42 | Good find Minerve, I thought BAE had one somewhere. The idea itself is not that new though! "The use of dry docks in China goes at least as far back the 10th century A.D.[1] In 1088, Song Dynasty scientist and statesman Shen Kuo (1031–1095) wrote in his Dream Pool Essays:" Sourced from Wikipedia | ribblewader
31/10/2018 08:19 | bookbroker30 Oct '18 - 20:12 - 4348 of 4349 0 0 0 Saudi issue is old hat, why do you not realise that it is now an internal issue within Saudi rather an international one, that country is far too important to the US to expect any further action beyond Saudi borders. Saudi issue isn't old hat. Nor is it just an "internal issue" either fyi due to Progressive Lefties the world over ensuring it isnt! This is all about Middle East politics - Turkey/Saudi power struggle alongside Iranian problems. This will rumble on for a while.. Whilst I concur vis importance of Saudi to US foreign policy in the region there might well be further action - it wont be mind blowing though. Personally I don't think it should affect defence contracts - but who knows in these PC days we live in. What weak results btw? | fangorn2

30/10/2018 19:02 | Germany should stop selling cars to Saudi. Then I'd believe they were serious. | sbs
30/10/2018 18:52 | Saudi issue old hat, this has fallen for no reason other than slightly weak results, but a 20% move since the beginning of the month extreme, very oversold and due a good bounce, failing that it’s time this merged, and to hell with the Govt. blocking stake! | bookbroker

30/10/2018 17:04 | Fangorn2, do you think that the amount is the reason behind today's drop? | cmackay
30/10/2018 16:56 | Indeed! My only personal experience with dry docks is on the canals, so not the same circumstances of course, but a floater certainly seems to be an oxymoron. | cmackay
