The price is falling because of basket trading; otherwise known as index arbiitrage. Just look at the size of the transactions and how many there are. Add to this the unmarketability of this stock and you have a mechanism for constant false markets, especially when the FTSE 250 future goes to a discount to fair value. The fall has nothing to do with fundamentals.

Mostly buys today but still down. Bought another wedge at 395 today. Hopefully we are nearing the edge of the overhang of shares now...

At my request, my broker asked 3 market makers today as to whether there was any reason for this afternoons fall and the general response was a badly handled sale order. Whilst one cannot be totally confident that there is nothing else, given the recent trading statement and the fact that for the last 3/4 years this is a stock whose reputation has been built on delivering no surprises I for one am happy to rely on it but I guess the next few days will tell.
