A strong update again with a new large contract win.

I'm a buyer at anything sub 450. Couldn't believe it hit 396 the other day. Think the large director sells weighed on the market for a while there...

The Future is a basket of stocks and has an expiration date. Depending on the time to elapse before expiration the market accords a time value to that future. General supply and demand will cause the future to trade at a premium, a discount or fair value. When we get to either a premium or a discount to fair value the index arbs. start to operate. When the future trades at fair value then there is no arbitrage to be done.

The time now is 1.40pm and the future has gone to a premium over fair value and the basket traders are now selling the future and buying the individual trades. The price has now recovered to 420p. But again look at the individual trades, all very small.
