just touched 600 yesterday, but then ends the day down, and now nudging below 550.....well , its not boring, I suppose, but a bit of stability would be nice (and a gradual move upwards even nicer). Still puzzled by the sharp movement yesterday. Any ideas? Any views for the interim figures due wednesday?

Interims on 13th November - expecting good results

I would like to see the company dispose of the rail operations and concentrate on the more profitable work

Not sure about a short - a small retracement back into the 560s would complete the cup and handle formation that started back in June - target would then be 650 - might get there before the interims in mid Nov - but will more likely be spurred on by them and we will see 650 in Dec. All IMHO - time will tell.

Thanks for your view alter ego. I am trying a short term short, on charting alone, with a close stop. Is it double Top? or just before a breakout?

On a forecast p/e of 17.1 and a peg of just 0.5 for this year and 0.7 for next it looks good value to me but short it if you feel lucky
