ham - agree - 363 was resistance. That said, I'm now convinced that the PE rumours must have a degree of truth to them, otherwise we'd almost definitely have seen a brief retrace to allow the share price to gather strength.

2 daily closes above the previous high of 363p from earlier in the year bodes well.

IMO, it's not about this or other individual news RNSs.
It's the general build up of news and confidence regarding the turn around and focus on good business contracts.
Slowly, slowly catchy monkey.

From a 1 month, 6 month, 12 month chart, it is rising.
And on the longer term charts like the 5yr, it has broken the decline and is now in a bull market trajectory.
I see resistance to overcome at 440p and 630p area, but give it time.
This, Costain, Capita and a few others are more that I have which I am looking for a treble on at least.

Ptonks, let me guess, you lost money here? Likely sold at a loss and dread the share price rising? (which it is).
Your posts are hilariously bitter.
Man up and move on. If making the odd bad investment does that you, then investing isn't your game!

I know all about the family connection of Rupert Soames. Nice connection to have when the current clown is PM don't you think? Don't let that cloud your mind though. Soames has done and excellent job and his reporting on the company is second to none in the FTSE at the moment. Book to Bill ratio of 190% cannot be ignored for much longer IMO.

Well, good luck. I do hope most of you do make up the return because this has been a complete disaster for medium/long term holders.

ham - £8 to £10 would do me!
MB - luckily I sold half my holding at £9 after it had sunk from £14. I fully understand your point about sunk costs but it's hard not to get emotional about losses.
Onwards and upwards to bring the smiles back.
