Interesting presentation - the new CFO clearly knows the stuff and has identified the key issues.

I just think the task is so large, and they're starting from such a bad place (not their fault) - average net debt, pension deficits, margin pressures and contract risk that success is far from certain.

And ultimately, looking at the prospects and debt position - it just isn't cheap.

Wish you all well with it - but it's not for me.

I tihnk the best that can be said is that we now have a solid line in the sand & a platform for rebuilding the new leaner and focused buisness without the need for equity. Most was already known but the sheer quauntum of the historic incompetence was bound to trigger a negative response!

They look complex and I guess the negativity is the old cliche of better to travel than arrive. Also not much of a boost any time soon from covid costs reducing - they say.

No time to look properly for the moment and not hugely tempted.

Let the dust settle methinks, and also see the presentation material for some clarity - although confirmation of no new equity is good, I think.

Well that's a line drawn under the past and no equity raise.
Still plenty of caution but hopefully we can move forward with some optimism.

Seems pretty stable around £3.
Maybe this is the platform to go higher once the bad news is finally announced?

1spotter - and you dont think that's already priced in to the share price following the last business update? I'd take a cautious, optimisitc view as in unless the've found even more skeletons in the cupboard, it's nigh impossible to say what's coming our way, end of the month. Still think that any signs of light could result in a postiive move.

Bad news coming in respect of the legacy profit taking and loss issues. Waiting for a warship build order that can be announced with the results to offset the share price impact. That simple.

With no news yet on the date for publishing results it’s getting a bit nervous!

I hope the audit doesn’t find a big hole because of any fraud!

Will be relieved if they publish something.

Thanks Drk1. Good to see that the narrative is turning more positive, or be it qualified.When the results are released, I think in my opinion that it will be very positive and I think that I am reading this correctly.
