I agree with comments, solid results by Amanda & Team, expect to break 5 quid and increase the divi this year by at least 5%. Results across the board are growing in revenues and margins. The question is; can she accelerate even more ? GLA

I don’t know what the market is expecting, but those numbers impress me. If there is any justice we should blast through the £5 level today. Sadly, life has taught me not to expect justice or fairness.

Whatsup, totally agree with the Conservative trashing. What comes next may dwarf what the Tories have done. Rachel Reeves is on record about the 25% tax free lump sum, so I may fiddle about over the next month to mitigate that real risk. I don't think she has the stomach for the legislation on the LTA, but if there's money to be taken, she will find it. Take from the alleged rich and give to the migrants.

It’s not like we’ve been rolling in money or good decision making under Conservatives. Early elections may actually be a good thing for the country and markets may see it that way.
I’m hoping to break the £5 mark tomorrow. Fingers crossed

Could go either way tomorrow, nothing at all to do with Aviva news, but all to do with the market reaction to 4/7. I suspect we'll tread water on a fab update, or sink with the rest on the market realism Labour is inbound.

Why would they converge Rongetsrich? Perhaps you imply all underwriters are robots, but even then they'd only be as good as those writing the algorithms. The best management, the best underwriters will always be on top relatively, the direction of the curves is determined by market conditions
