At what point do bidders start looking at AV.
The P/E multiple must be low.

Bought 5k yesterday and 5k today
Anything below 370 looks like value to me with a yield spread of c4% above Gilts

The Tikk Tokkers are back

With that in mind have lowered my previous thoughts of bottom of target

Will reassess after the weekend but I cannot see any end in sight to the slow relentless grinding fall

The only saving grace is the dividends have still to land thus unable to take advantage of any further falls

Today is a day to wait let it come to you

Good Luck

Skinny

Good luck with that target

My read is this Aviva is range bound 366-383
Lgen similar 211-221
Phnx again 505-525

will be very suprised if any one breaks out under the current inertia in the market

Leastways not until Phnx reports their numbers

roll on them dividends and a bit of movement

Swapped some DLG for more ICAP this morning

keep swinging

A few pence up is better than a few pence down!!
We were at 460 pre SVB so to go back above that seems easily achievable given time. Collect the great divi while waiting and good luck all 👍🏻

Don t often agree with you but in this case I think you might have the right idea

Like you picked a level left my bid and am now going to enjoy rest of week of glorious sunshine

Feels like a Friday so off to the fridge for another cold one

Too hot to garden

All the best

Guess I'm re-investing that dividend at an even cheaper price.

2+ year low but look at that chart and how with hindsight buying at 2020 lows was a master stroke..

Even the 370 price has proven to offer returns time after time...

To avoid unnecessary heartache, I am taking leave of absence from this BB until
the Q3 announcement on 15th November.
Very unlikely that anything material will occure in the meantime...but hopefully perhaps some sanity!
Bye for now, see you in November

This involves more than an end in sight needed to the rates tightening cycle,
it's both a ZIRP unwind and perception/expectation that rates will remain higher
for longer. Oil prices are increasing again and that's the last event we need ATM.

I agree with first part of Tufty s homily

Agree Spud,
Watch the markets rally as soon as central banks start to pause and rates on cash stop rising. It's a tough watch right now and even harder to hit the buy button but in time it will reward and be back above 450 I think.

Good luck all 👍🏻

Indeed, but only on paper AND if you sell now. With attractive no risk savings rates available elsewhere it’s no wonder funds are being moved and consequently impacting high yielding stocks such as AV.

Come back in 8 to 12 months once we’re into a declining rate environment and apply the same rationale.

Meanwhile, I and other savvy INVESTORS (see what I did there) will continue to buy the opportunities presented.

And a 3 year low breach. Surely foreshadows a new longer term downtrend?
