I generally sell half when a good run seems to level off.Kind of keeps me sane, with just enough regret if they continue up and marginal smugness if they drop a bit, conscious I still hold a load...

Yes it is a difficult one oggyrocks.

I got out for a profit and back in recently on an intraday dip but that was more luck than skill as I messed it up with others. I think hold for the divi and general positivity in this and the sector right now.

1rob just fyi my own view of bv for av currently is about 460-470 based on stated nav of 420 adjusted up for non value items risk margin and tmtp net. amazingly it always seems to match the prevailing share price of the day. ie 460 odd. so an absolute min floor value of the business and shows how much more its worth and also why BBs still make sense.

I certainly believe they are, and have been undervalued, otherwise I wouldn't hold shares in the company!

Reading again the half year statement.
Any new Share Buy-back programme will not happen until after next year's AGM
...that is no earlier than May 2023!!!
