If as widely anticipated ""The criminal " loses the confidence vote tonight might we expect due to his complete and utter lack of integrity a warm welcome to the Aviva board of directors to be forthcoming.

As fast as I ban them from my threads they create a new profile. Hopefully ADVFN will sort tomorrow. Strangely, my crypto threads are un-spammed. Go figure. spud

1robbob . Not meant to belittle AB I’m a fan , just questioning the wisdom of this idea.

Specially at a time of inflation that could become rampant. I can’t see anyone making a quote for a job without adding 20% for just in case. Also big projects can turn nasty and leave a big hole in the pocket.
Euro tunnel, HS2 just two examples.

We shareholders (!!) are quite relaxed

This is all about the politics surrounding the changes to Solvency 2
HMG want Insurance Cos to finance huge infrastucture projects, but the proposed
S2 changes are counter productive; as AB points out

Infrastucture Investment offers hugely increased returns compared to the miserly returns that S2 has tied us to

AT LAST, found the Worked Example for apportioning acquisition cost between new ordinary shares and B shares for CGT purposes.

It's under FAQs on their investor website

Then scroll down to:
