A huge volume today ie circa 24m but all insurers are down.

I think we are right to expect a dip in this short week especially with no US market today too. We like to follow their lead in the PM so without one today I think some may take their money off the table ahead of the long weekend.

Also many away at the moment too so it's far from normal times.

A quite positive article in this Weekend FT "Lunch with Amanda Blanc"...in fact very positive and I am personally pleased that she is our CEO. Should leave any doubters looking for any issues with other companies in the FTSE....hope she stays at least another 5 years, and rewarded accordingly.

After all it's a simple "on the relevant day valuation" and a "computation of the effect of the share consolidation vis-a-vis the B shares/reduction in ongoing capital".

Well done rob. But how complicated can it be? Most companies that carry out such a share consolidation/capital return provide the information within a day or two.
