Hi Devon beach bum

I know is not along time in scheme of things but 15% was not to be sneezed at
As I have said previously have been very disappointed with treatment meted
out to long suffering investors by AB and her unlamented predecessor with regard to non payment of declared dividend and then the cut
Thus betrayal of trust was and is very difficult to stomach
This short term trade was too good to pass up rather than the empty promises pedalled by the discredited Aviva board
As said I hope that they come through with their promises but judging on recent behaviour I have my doubts
Ps share buybacks are of no benefit to cash starved investors
Good luck to long suffering investors hope it all goes well but looking at variance in the stock markets and the perceived disconnect (my own view) of the present markets I m keeping cash to the fire for now
Good luck

AI pedalled the line of team investment strategy back in 2008.Demise of star managers? They never had the capability or attraction to hire any stsrs.

Cummings made off with millions. A clown who contributed to the Aviva emphasis on developing an anti slavery policy.

its really heartening to see AB clear these cost centers from the books. Satisfying.

Surely there was some moral deficiency that came to light at BT over those couple of days ?

Each to their own Jim and I wish you all the best, but selling AV. when they're about to be giving billions back to us is a bit of headscratcher mate. You owned BT for how long - 2 days??

Eurofox you may be right .though I’m not expecting much from Elliott front , if America opens up to EU traffic figured we may get some positive movement on IAG .

You need to change your tax adviser. You can not have two primary residences.

Bought IAG thinking it's duty free. It's now Spanish tax due .2%? Since beginning this year.

Yes agree..have found that with a fast moving share price situation the AJB quote disappears..'not possible to deal at this time' scenario.
By the way a ludicrous appointment as Chairman there...a career built on flannel and nonsense. IMO.
