They did say that it would take several weeks of testing Yorgi, and it's only been less than two since it went to hold hands with it's older brother, so I'd be surprised if they issue an RNS till that's all 100% sorted.
But as always, I could be wrong.

Let's hope we end blue today.

Systems should be switched on by now and initial tests being carried out so I would think we should have a RNS any day now confirming systems working.......assuming they are of course :-)

John,
I welcome all well presented opinions, and ignore idiots. Unfortunately they present themselves all over advfn boards and have little idea what sad fools they make of themselves. The only feeling you should reserve for them is sympathy.

You should post over on the other thread.

Yes but please don't ram your BS down our throats.

Charts are simply like religion, they have some use if you get enough suckers to believe.

----------------------------

From post 230:

. . . . Those like restassured are free to ignore what I post but have no right to ridicule it. But that's up to him / her and he doesn't bother me. It says more about him than it does about me and I don't give much credence to him. Someone on the other thread described his attitude as expensive arrogance.

. . . . Some of us trade and some of us invest. It's your choice but none of us have the monopoly on wisdom or what is right and what is wrong. Those of us who think we do are plain ignorant.

----------------------------

I'm sorry restassured but I can find no evidence of anyone here electing you as a censor, official or otherwise.

No one's ramming anything down anyone's throat and I suspect there will be a number of people who will not like being called suckers. But then you do seem to think that you have the monopoly on what is right and wrong.

Bigoted and ignorant. Use your filter button.

Anyone care to comment?

Anyone else like to say anything on my behalf?

People should have an open mind - 'mind like parachute; only function when open'.

Thank you for your post 226. Not ranting BUT . . .

I gave up with my charts on the other thread because I was constantly having to put together little defensive notes like this.

But you can clearly see the problem following post 227 and 228.

Those like restassured are free to ignore what I post but have no right to ridicule it. But that's up to him / her and he doesn't bother me. It says more about him than it does about me and I don't give much credence to him. Someone on the other thread described his attitude as expensive arrogance.

Whereas, I invite Julecester (who has never posted here before or on the other thread that I'm aware of) to find one, just one, example of something I've posted here as a chart that has been wildly inaccurate. Because I reckon I've been fairly close these past six months (having, incidentally, been 'invited' by others to post my charts). I'd also like him / her to point me in the direction of someone else who posts AVN charts and who gets it, shall we say, more right.

I, for my part, could site lots of posts on the other thread (£6 pre launch, £8 post launch, to name but two that had no substance other than wishful thinking). They were wildly inaccurate and haven't come good. I could also point to the little 'predict the price' competition I ran on the other thread where no one was within 5% of the actual price on a given day and all bar two were more than 10% out and some over 50% out and that was just over a period of about 10 days which included the Hylas2 launch. (That was the Hylas2 launch that was going to send the price 'into orbit' to quote one of the many idioms which were prevalent at the time). Since then we've had the 'payload turn on' which would finally move the price. It didn't. And now we're anticipating contract RNS's and or director buys to do the trick. For all those fundamentalists, AVN announced via RNS, a 3 month testing period immediately after launch.

It's unlikely that there will any new contracts until this is done or at least until there is evidence that the testing is 70 / 80% or whatever, complete and fully up to speed.

Some of us trade and some of us invest. It's your choice but none of us have the monopoly on wisdom or what is right and what is wrong. Those of us who think we do are plain ignorant.

This is a slightly different chart configuration that I use when assessing if it's worth trading a share. It tends to be clearer than candlestick charts.

john, why an earth don't you post on the other thread. I posted before that most would welcome the opinion. Please don't rant about not being welcome, that is not the case.

-----------------------------

The answer to your question can be found in posts 227 and 228. But thank you anyway and I'll come back when I've had more time to compose a reply. For now I wanted to get the above chart up before my analytical programs have the benefit of today's 'price action'.

Thanks again.

Hedge Funds Capitulate on European Shorts

By Alexis Xydias - Aug 13, 2012 4:03 PM GMT+0700

Hedge funds that base investment decisions on economic trends are unwinding bets against European stocks (SXXP) at the fastest pace in three years, speculating policy makers will step up the fight against the debt crisis.

The degree by which macro funds are trailing the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (SX5E) is narrowing at the fastest rate since 2009, a sign managers are covering short sales by buying shares, according to data compiled by Bloomberg and JPMorgan Chase & Co. The proportion of shares on loan in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index, an indication of short interest, has fallen to 2.9 percent from 3.4 percent in May, data from London-based Markit show

meaning 'to cover Africa & Middle East'

Congratulations K........I assume you won't be using Hylas as a middle name :-)

We seem to be edging back up now on very low volume but up none the less.

Been away of late due to the birth of our first child which coincided with the launch!

AVN still has a classic recovery bowl in play and has respected this formation, Stoch's/RSI near oversold

Currently have no position in AVN having sold on the launch spike and expecting a pullback in the general markets. Hourly also making lower high's since 16/07/12

Hope all AVN trader's/investor's are well :)
